1. A set of statements is logically consistent if they can all
be true at the same time.
2. A set of statements is logically inconsistent if they cannot
all be true at the same time.
3. a) Adam has a lot of money. People call him rich.
b) He usually help people around him. All the people in his communities like him because of his attitude. c) Badrul finish his assignment on 13 January. He finish it before deadline. The deadline is 17 January.
4. a) She is an atheist. She believes in Allah.
b) The coronavirus is very dangerous. It kill 1 people last year. c) Johan is very good at art. He fail his all his art’s exam.
5. a) He said the phone is very cheap. The phone cost RM2000.
If the person is a rich guy, then the set of these statements is consistent. If the person is a normal guy, then the set of these statements is inconsistent.
b) Azlan pass his addmath paper. He got D.
If the passing mark for his addmath paper is D, then the set of these statements is consistent. If the passing mark for his addmath paper is C, then the set of these statements is inconsistent.
c) Every people empty the room. Josh is in the room.
If Josh is not human, then the set of these statements is consistent.
