 Executive Summary

This report is prepared on the basis of my two months practical experience at Creazione
Software, which is a budding IT training institute, working not only for the profits but for the
betterment of Indian youth by conducting open campuses & by training them to the required skill
level. This report has been presented on the basis of my observations & experiences in the
organization. The organization's major focus is on students training & placement. The report is
based on the impact of placement in an IT training institute. The report also consists the
conclusion which according to my point of view will help the organization to analyses the
candidates better.

The objective of Human Resource Department is Human Resource Planning. The training
& placement unit is dedicated to training & placement qualified candidates for appointments.
The objective of my study was to understand the training & placement process. In this report, I
have tried to include all points related to training & placement process which start with objective,
Company Profile, Research Methodology, Data Collection, Data Analysis Along with findings
from the research. The limitations of the project are also highlighted in this Project Report.

INTRODUCTION

 Meaning:
Human resources are the most valuable and unique assets of an organization. It examines the
various HR processes that are concerned with attracting, managing, motivating & developing
employees for the benefit of the organization.

The successful management of an organization's human resources is an exciting, dynamic


and challenging task, especially at a time when the world has become a global village and
economies are in a state of flux. The scarcity of talented resources and the growing expectations
of the modern-day worker have further increased the complexity of the human resource function.

It is therefore necessary for all managers to understand and give due importance to the
different human resource policies and activities in the organization. Human Resource
Management outlines the importance of HRM and its different functions in an organization.

Human resource management (HRM), also called personnel management, consists of all the
activities undertaken by an enterprise to ensure the effective utilization of employees toward the
attainment of individual, group, and organizational goals.

An organization's HRM function focuses on the people side of management. It consists of


practices that help the organization to deal effectively with its people during the various phases
of the employment cycle, including pre-hire, staffing, and post-hire. The pre-hire phase involves
planning practices. The organization must decide what types of job openings will exist
in the upcoming period and determine the necessary qualifications for performing these jobs.

“Human Resource Management is the process of recruiting, selecting, inducting employees,


providing orientation, imparting training and development, appraising the performance of
employees, deciding compensation and providing benefits, motivating employees, maintaining
proper relations with employees and their trade unions, ensuring employees safety, welfare and
healthy measures in compliance with labour laws of the land”.

Every research has some objectives or reasons behind the study conducted.

Objective can give us a brief idea about the project report:

 To search the IT companies on internet & suggest the candidates.

Creazione Software established in 2010 by Mr. Adinath Giri who had a passion for teaching and
who wanted to pass on the knowledge he had accumulated over a period of 10 years to people
who want to make a career in the IT industry. We wanted to provide the industry with people
having good Technical Skills and people with the desired knowledge and ability to make
successful career in the Software industry.

 A Research Method:

“Research is careful inquiry or examination to discover new information & relationship & to
expand & verify knowledge.” Research always start with the questions or a problem. Its purpose
is to find answers to questions through the application of the scientific method.

Research:
Once the problem has been carefully defined, the needs to establish plan that will outline
the investigation to be carried out. The research design indicates the steps that have be
taken & in the what sequence they occurred.

 Sample Design:
A define plan for obtaining the sample from a given population is called as Sample Design.
It is a technique of selecting items for the sample. It lays down the number of items to be
included in the sample. It should be reliable & appropriate for the research study of the
researcher.

 Methodology:
The methodology of the study is based on the primary as well as secondary data.

 Information about how to collect the data:

I can collect the data with the help of sampling method. In all forms of research, it would be
ideal to test the entire population, but in most cases the population is just too large that it is
impossible to include every individual. This is the reason why most researchers rely on sampling
technique like convenience sampling, the most common of all sampling techniques. Many
researchers prefer this sampling technique because it fast, inexpensive, easy, and the subject are
readily available.

 Data Collection:

The task of data collection begins after the research problem has been defined & the out. While
deciding about the methods of the data collection to be used for the study, the researcher should
keep 2 types of data in mind.

A. Primary Data:
 Information obtained from the original source by research is call primary data.
They offer much greater accuracy & reliability.
 The researcher has to gather primary data afresh for the specific study undertaken
by him. Primary data has been collected here by questionnaire method & personal
interview method is follow.
 Primary sources such as Interviews, Observation & attending training &
development classes.

used previously for the analysis & the results are undertaken for the next process.

 Finding:

 IT training institute mostly follows or runs on the placement theories like learning theory
& learning social cognitive theory of training & placement process.

 The candidates / students of the institute were satisfied with the kind of placement process
followed there.

 IT training institutes the placement process should be short be short & qualitative because
the candidates already have a rough idea of the career choices they only need hands on
practice on the technology.

 The placement process should be mainly depending on the basis of the approach & not on
the basis of the area.

 Observation:

 It has been observed that most of the candidates onCreazione Software find placement
process is effective for the organizational objectives.

 Campus drive is the most widely used method for the candidate’s selection in the
company.

 Candidates are satisfied with the method used for selection process & interview method
& also the recruitment & selection process totally depends on interview.

 Suggestion:

 The training & placement procedure should be lengthy & time taking.

 Give opportunities to fresher to show their skills by giving challenging task.

 To induce fresh blood in all levels of the company.

 The person with creative thinking who have the competence & the willingness to work
should be encouraged as valuable resources of the company.

 Conclusion:

The work on the project study was a wonderful experience. The study has been extremely
helpful in developing professional skills &personality. The training helped me a lot to adapt
myself to actual working environment & in coordination with other teams. Working on topic that
has got both the problem & the solution was the actual fun. Further the guidance, assistance
provided by my colleagues at Creazione Software helped to understand the real working
challenges & the conditions & also the skills to handle them.
