A franchise is defined as a license to sell another’s products or to use another’s name in business, or both. The company that sells the franchise is known as a franchiser, and the purchaser of the franchise is known as a franchisee. Directions: You will be given two minutes to list as many franchises as you can think of. These businesses can include restaurants, stores, etc. You are welcome to work by yourself or with others! Students with the longest list will be rewarded. (Hint – think of places you see everywhere, ex. McDonald’s)
