Digital Camera Questionnaire

1. On a scale of 0-10, 0 being none and 10 being an expert, how much experience do you
have with digital cameras?

This question is to determine how much experience one has with digital cameras. Based on the
answers to this question I would be able to factor in how much or how little training I would have
to give to my agents. Allowing my agents to judge themselves on a basic scale gives me an
easy way to average everyone’s score and come to a consensus for the whole group.

2. What purpose do you most often take pictures for?

a. Personal/family/friend photos
b. Blogging
c. Nature
d. Media consumption

I realize that my agents have obviously taken pictures in their lives at some point in time. This
question will allow me to find the agents in my group that do have slightly more experience in
the professional realm of photography. Based on the answers to this question, I could pick out
certain people to lead a training session for these cameras.

3. Which best describes your position toward this statement:

“I am a more effective real estate agent when equipped with my own digital
camera”
a. Strongly Agree
b. Agree
c. Neutral
d. Disagree
e. Strongly Disagree

This question allows me to gauge the general attitudes towards photography amongst the
group. It wouldn’t matter how much training I gave these people if they didn’t have a positive
outlook on having a digital camera with them. If the majority of my group disagrees with the
statement, I might have to reconsider this whole digital camera venture.

4. On a scale of 0-10, 0 being none at all and 10 being an enthusiast, how much do you like to
edit photos?

This question is giving me a lot of valuable information that I can use empirically as well.
Since I am inherently asking an opinionated question, I am getting their attitude towards the
subject. This is also giving me that data in a way that i can sort easily. It could also suggest
what the skill level of the agents are in this specific field.

5. Write a few sentences about photography’s role in the real estate business.
This is an open-ended question that can reveal how much or how little one knows about this
particular topic.. This question can possibly even get the agents to realize or at least think about
what this questionnaire is really trying to achieve. This statement in conjunction with the
previous question can sum up the overall skill level and attitude of the agent.
