First industrial-strength consumer vacuum ideal for health-conscious families

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Feb. 25, 2020 – Durable Appliances Corp. (DAC), the leader
in industrial cleaning technology, today announced the release of the ElectroZoom XL (EZXL),
the first industrial-strength consumer vacuum. This product is ideal for both health-conscious
families and pet owners.

The EZXL features patent-pending GermStat, an electrostatic filtration system that pulls
in dust, pollen, pet hair, and other irritants. GermStat removes 99.97% of all particles as small as
.3 microns, can reduce or eliminate asthma and allergy symptoms, and create a more breathable
home.

The vacuum also features UltimateUltraWave (U2Wave), an ultraviolet germicidal

irradiation (UVGI) light surrounding the interior perimeter of the vacuum head. The EZXL is the
first vacuum to use UVGI, which kills 90-plus percent of pathogens like bacteria, mold, and
viruses.

Consumers will experience power, portability, innovation, and eco-friendly cleaning
technology. The lightweight EZXL operates at 65 decibels, has 180 degrees of maneuverability,
and can operate in bagless mode. Notable features include:

• EZ Reach Handle – Designed by an orthopedist, the EZXL features an extra-long, 46-

inch handle, making it easier to clean places that are difficult to reach.
• Cordless operation – The EZXL is the first cordless upright vacuum. Vacuum for 30
minutes on high-power and 45 minutes on medium-power.
• Detachable, cordless canister – The 200W, quick-release canister vacuum is ideal for
portable vacuuming for spaces like stairs.

and Walmart. The vacuum costs $675 MSRP. An eight-piece attachment set, including a dusting
brush and extension wand, comes at an additional cost. The EZXL includes a one-year labor
warranty and a five-year parts warranty.
