❏ Going for Broke – You need to go to Office 365, then

select Class Notebook. I have added you all to my “Lacey’s

Georgia Studies” notebook where you will find your “Going
6th.
for Broke” packet. You will edit and type directly onto the
document in the notebook and I will edit from there.

*To get to Office 365: Go to the Cobb county website, click


on the “parents” tab at the top, then select “Office 365 Sign-
in”. You will need to select OneNote.

✓ You will need to complete Career and Schooling by


Wednesday.
✓ You will need to complete Home by Friday.

*You will not be able to move on to the next section until the
day it’s listed on the schedule. There are many pieces to this
project, and you need to take your time when making
selections. I will put each new section and anything you will
need with it on my website on the morning of the day it’s
listed on the schedule.

*Most questions can be answered using the instructions ON


the packet itself. If you ask me questions about the project, I
will first ask you if you read the instructions and everything in
the charts.

area such as, Smyrna, Marietta, or Atlanta.

✓ Step 4: Use the chart below to complete the charts
based on the information you chose for your “home”.

choosing a “non-vehicle” mode of transportation that is
much cheaper.
✓ READ EVERY INSTRUCTION and DETAIL as some
non-vehicle modes of transportation you will not be
able to choose from depending on where you live.

you choose a meal plan. You will use the “food habits”
chart on my website to see if you need to add any
money to your final totals. Then use the “Meal Plans”
chart to choose a meal plan for the month. Think about
how you eat now and use that information to complete
this section.

complete this section. They are all on the same
webpage, located at the link below. You will need to
read it in full to understand your choices. There may be
some hidden additional costs, so I will know if you read
it all or not.
✓ You HAVE to choose a “Clothing”, “Grooming”, “Pet”,
and “Extras” option.
✓ Read ALL instructions on the packet to know what you
CAN and CAN NOT do.
✓ For “Cell Phone Plan”—just put $75.00, option 0.
