Planning for and Implementing Instruction

• I have prepared and taught many types of lessons over the course of my time at Rochester
University. I like to keep my lessons at a good pace so students do not get bored, but yet do not
feel rushed. I had all the activities prepared before the lesson and stayed energetic throughout
the lesson. I have worked with Smart Board technology and have used it in countless lessons.

I make sure my lesson plans are:

• Engaging
• Interesting
• In line with Common Core State Standards
• Prepared ahead of time
• Detailed instructions
• Hands on activities
• Apply to a variety of learners

Extra-Curricular

• Coaching if needed
