SKILLS
I have now completed 4 years of teaching. I am a people person; as such I am always friendly towards others and
strive to make students’ experiences in the classroom meaningful and positive. My teaching experience has
included multi-age classrooms with a focus on multiculturalism, ELL, inclusion, and diversity. Equity is at the heart
of all my planning so that the needs of each learner are met. I am committed to my personal work on truth and
reconciliation and professionally I have sat on our First Nations Metis Inuit committee. I maintain a safe, fun, and
positive learning environment for my class. I am a team player and will contribute enthusiastically to your school
community. I am exceptionally organized and feel that my experience at various schools and consistent, unique
experiences at my current school has prepared me to handle a variety of student needs and situations.
