Summary
I have vast experiences in handling diverse classroom populace during my Field Study (FS)
in different elementary schools in Davao City. I was also involved in leading school
organization by being an Alpha Responder of University of Mindanao NSRC Corps and had
been a resource speaker in the community extension seminars sponsored by the University.
Had won several quiz bee contest representing my organization, the Association of Generalist
Teacher (AGENT). These experiences helped me to enhance my interpersonal,
communication and leadership skills. I am hard working with an excellent time management
skills, resourceful, open-minded, can work under pressure, and with high regards for
excellence evident in being a consistent honor student of the University despite of being a
working student.

Career Advancement
• To further enhance my skills and expertise in my chosen field and continues
professional development, I want to pursue my post graduate studies. This is to
upgrade myself and to increase my professional value. I see myself enjoying a
prosperous career in the field of education in the next 10 years.
Financial Stability
• Part of my goal in pursuing career is to be financially stable. With this I have to
resilient and frugal with my expenditures. In addition to this is my plan of taking
financial literacy crash course. I believe that financial stability is one thing that gives
dignity in my profession.
Added Skills
• I already have my Tesda certificate for Visual Graphics Design and I want to add it by
having another certificate in Culinary Arts and Electronics Servicing.
Community Engagement
• I am already a community responder certified by Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction
and Management Office-911. I plan to facilitate disaster response training in our
Barangay to equip my neighbors and Barangay mates with the necessary skills in
saving themselves during disaster.
Personal Satisfaction
• If my time and finances permit, I really love to travel to Israel, Spain, and United
States of America. Spending a vacation abroad with my family is one of my ultimate
goals in life.
ABSTRACT
Professors who are non-education graduates may lack expertise in the arts and science of
teaching and learning process. This study aimed to determine the teaching and learning
experience of non-education graduate professors of the University of Mindanao to propose a
basis for their professional development program. The study was tested at .05 level of
difference that there is no significant difference in teaching and learning experience when
grouped by bachelor's degree and length of service. The researchers employed a universal
sampling of 215 non-education graduate professors of the University of Mindanao, used
descriptive survey design as a tool, and utilized descriptive non-experimental quantitative
research. The study found out that most of the respondents have a very high level of teaching
and learning experiences. The difference in teaching and learning experience is not
significant in terms of length of service and qualifications. However, assessment and other
seat works have the lowest mean and least practiced among indicators. This implied the
necessity of professional development programs related to the respondents' mentioned
indicators to enhance further their role and function expected to them as an educator.
