ACKNOWLEDGMENT

I want to sincerely thank the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Laboratory

High School for allowing me to watch ABM 12–6 classes and for giving me the
chance to learn new things and become immersed in the classroom as I prepare
to become a teacher. This gave me even more motivation to keep going down
this path and trying to become a better person.

I would want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Teacher Mark Clessdy C. Reyes

for all of his help and advice during this time that I have been in his class. He
forced me to refresh and renew the knowledge I had acquired back in 2007 while I
was a BSBA Marketing Management student at the University of Luzon.
Fundamentals of ABM 2 taught me more about this subject and made me know
that I should be doing more than just teaching when I grow up.

My sincere gratitude goes out to my professor, Ms. Caroline Sumande,

Associate Dean of the College of Education, who has never ceased to inspire
and mentor me during my time here in my Field Study 1 and
2. Since I started this program last year, she has always been the one to light
the spark of passion for teaching in my heart. This will be a very valuable
experience for me when I start my career as a full-fledged teacher eventually.

I'm not leaving behind my ever-supportive classmates, who have become my

buddies over the past few months. I consider myself extremely fortunate to
have them by my side as we go forward. I will treasure every moment we
have spent together. Also, the pupils in the class inspired me to enhance my
passion for teaching.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience

all of these in such a short period of time. Nonetheless, what matters most are the
new knowledge, skills, and experiences that will undoubtedly build aspirations for
becoming a good teacher in the future. Thank you for being a method for the
almighty God to tell me to do more and to inspire people who are unsure of their
abilities to become instructors.

I'd like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey here. May we have
more wisdom to share not only with our learners, but with everybody who
aspires to be educators.
INTRODUCTION

This e-portfolio contains a collection of documentations of my

experience of observing the class of ABM students, where every moment
here became a stepping stone in my path towards becoming a full-fledge
teacher in the near future.

Throughout the next pages of this e-portfolio, you will know a little
background of me, how does it look like while observing this class,
particularly. You will notice the portions of a life o being an aspiring teacher
and how I shared these to everyone along the way.

A special acknowledgement to Teacher Mark Clessdy C. Reyes, his

students from the class ABM 12-6, my Professor, Associate Dean of College
of Education, Ms. Caroline Sumande, and my classmates who became my
companions throughout these past few months in the Field Study 1 and 2.

This e-portfolio is an emulation of the inspiring journey through the path

of a future teacher. Come and join me in revisiting the humble moments
that will undoubtedly guide me to the teacher I envision myself.
PRE-SERVICE TEACHER’S BIOGRAPY

(Insert picture In a peaceful barrio of Brgy. Inarawan,

here) Antipolo City, Rizal, I took my small steps in studying
at Bagong Nayon 2 Elementary School, where I
graduated in 2007. On the same year, I started
studying at Antipolo National High School and
graduated in 2011.

Throughout these years, I became more

eager in striving harder and harder in studying. I
became an academic scholar of the Rizal Provincial
Government through the initiative of our
Governor Jun Ynares
before I graduated in high school in early 2011. I was one of the five
students from our school to pass the qualifying examination for the
scholarship program. A few months later, I passed the qualifications and
examination for another scholarship from our Antipolo City Mayor, Nilo Leyble.
And, before the year 2011 ended, I passed another scholarship grant from
our Congressman, Romeo Acop. To sum up, I had three scholarships before
the end of 2011.

Following the path of becoming a successful businessowner, I wanted

to study a business-related course in college. I came across the opportunity to
pass all the requirements for the Polytechnic University of the Philippines
College Entrance Test and qualified to enroll eventually. I graduated in 2015.

On the year 2017, I passed the Civil Service Commission Professional

Examinations with a satisfactory rating of 83.38%. Though, having an eligibility, I
became a private employee from 2017 until the current year, 2024.

It may sound cliché, but I had a calling of becoming a teacher on

2023. That is why I shifted my path to the academic journey. I felt that this
is where I belong and this is where I will be surely saying that I can make a
difference to the lives of the next generations. This may be an orthodox style of
career pathing but I am clear to my mind and heart that being a teacher is
the profession that I will be doing for the rest of my life.

And so, this turns a new chapter of my story of how I will become a
successful teacher in the future. Being a teacher is not an easy job, it is not
something that can be learned in a few months. That is why, this journey
will transcend through many years of professional development.
