your involvement in our program and degree concentration and (c) the contributions you want to make through further
graduate study.

Please explain with detail why your scholarship (research) interests make you a good candidate for admission into the HRD
Ph.D. pr ogram. This should be a one (1 ) to two (2) p age typed s tatement.

University of Tennessee, 310 Jessie Harris Bldg., Knoxville, Tennessee 37996-1900. Admission to the Master's degree program cannot be
considered until we have received all materials and file is complete. Departmental admission deadlines are February 1, June 1, and
November 1. Please forward these materials promptly. Note that the Graduate School must receive your application and fee at least 4-6
weeks prior to the departmental deadlines.
