Room setup tips: 

● Be as close as you can to your modem/router, connected via ethernet cable if possible. WiFi network 
speeds drop rapidly as you move further from the source. 
● Plug in your device, rather than running on battery 
● To comply with Conservatorium Child Protection procedure please use a family room and leave the 
doors open. Zoom lessons can be recorded from your end if you wish. 
● Position the device so lighting is coming from overhead or from behind the device (or both). 
● Wherever possible, limit the network usage by others during your lesson.   
 
You will need: 
● Music 
● Instrument 
● Pencil (2B is perfect) 
● Music stand 
● A notepad or your Practice Diary will be handy for keeping notes 
● Tuner 
● Metronome
