EEC 319 : ENGINEER IN THE SOCIETY

So far for this course, we’ve covered the following topics during our normal class sessions:

 Technology and Engineering in ancient Egypt, Time, China, Europe and America
 The trend in technological development from Military to Civil Engineering
 The Industrial Revolution in England and it’s spread to Europe, Asia and Africa
 Modern Technology and Engineering

Also, we treated the following topics:

 Identifying the various cadres of the engineering family

 The ideal ratio of the different cadres of engineering personnel required for an engineering
project team

Q2: Which cadre(s) will you consider more important over the others and why?

Q3: Why do you think there should be different numbers of each cadre of the engineering family
for any given project? What will you consider the ideal ratio?
