All shortlisted candidates are required to attend PIT & PI on the date and time specified in the
Call Letter. No changes in the date and time of PIT & PI will be allowed. Candidates not
appearing for the PIT & PI on the assigned date will be considered as absent, their names
shall be removed from the list and shall not be allowed to participate in further admission
processes. No further communication in this regard will be entertained.
All shortlisted candidates are required to fill some part of the Detailed Application Form (DAF)
- Part A online with appropriate information.
After taking a print out of DAF Part A and Part B necessary information need to be filled in the
candidates own handwriting. These forms need to be filled separately for every programme
the candidate is shortlisted for.
One recent passport size color photograph needs to be affixed on DAF Part B.
Candidates are required to carry a Print out of the Call Letter (available in the candidate’s login
in the admission webpage), Detailed Application Form (DAF) - Part A & Part B with all the
required information filled in by the candidate and the same need to be submitted at the
time of attending the PI at the respective Secretariat of the School or Centre.
Campus wise Schedule of PIT and PI is given below (Excluding Sundays & Public Holidays). The
exact venue of PIT and PI is given in candidate’s “Call Letter”.
Mumbai campus - March 12 to March 21, 2020 (for all programmes offered from
MUMBAI and BALM Chennai campuses)
Tuljapur Campus - March 23 to March 27, 2020 (for all programmes offered from
TULJAPUR campus)
Hyderabad Campus - March 23 to March 27, 2020 (for all programmes offered from
Hyderabad campus)
Guwahati Campus - March 31 to April 03, 2020 (for all programmes offered from
Guwahati campus)
No Candidates will be provided accommodation in the TISS Campuses during the period of PIT
& PI held at the TISS campuses. List of Hotels & Lodge nearby TISS Campus are been suggested
on the website for your information.
Only the SC/ST candidates (non-local) who paid online application fee of Rs. 250/- per
programme are entitled for reimbursement of to and fro travel expenses (Ordinary Sleeper
Class Railway or State Transport Bus fare on the shortest route which will be reimbursed
through ECS/Bank Transfer only.
For reimbursement of the travel expenses, eligible candidates are required to forward the TA
application duly filled along with original tickets of the onward and return journey, photocopy
of Saving Bank Account Passbook and any other relevant documents required in original to the
Section Officer, SC/ST EOC Cell, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, V.N. Purav Marg, Deonar,
Mumbai 400 088 on or before 15th April, 2020. The prescribed TA application form is
available at Registration Counter or can be download from the TISS website.
Only candidates who are differently abled (PWD) will be offered accommodation in the TISS
Campus (except Hyderabad Off Campus which is a non-residential campus) on the day of PIT &
PI on first come first served basis. Candidates can directly send their request to
hostel@tiss.edu to reserve their accommodation.
