One of the leadership competencies is expert decision-making skills. This is one of the

essential qualities in any leadership or even in nursing skills for decision-making skills. This

causes the healthcare decision to be based on research and also, empirical science that might be

able to achieve the desired results. However, at a time, decisions in complex environments such

as health care can often be hard to judge and look set to become harder in the future.

Furthermore, the decision making by the nurse should have a strategy that can be implemented

by the nurse leaders in the future is using expert networks. This makes most of the communities

have top thinkers, researchers, and also, scientists to be able to come up with the right solution

that will favor both the nurses and the patient. I like this idea of decision making these is because

it is realistic since one says what he sees and feel comfortable when deciding for employees or

even patient and nurses. ( Amekudzi-Kennedy,@ AL,2016).

During my clinical training days, the instructor made me love and achieve what I wanted

towards my job. This is because his role modeled leadership by being responsible for having

answers and also to look for more answers if they didn’t and also pushed me to think for myself.

BSN is essential to nurses since the skills they have acquired will help them to be advanced to

their practice nursing role, which entails more responsibility. Furthermore, the BSN makes one

be a better nurse and gives him credibility. Since the nursing fields are continuously advancing

and developing new systems and discovering new methods of treating patients, this makes the

nurses to be challenged to become lifelong learners to serve better patient care and improve

healthcare through their community. ( Bullington, @ AL, 2019).
