APPLICATION LETTER
A. Meaning

A letter of Application (Application Letter), also known as a Covering Letter, is


a letter that written to a company or organization when you are applying for a job.
The letter of application is intended to provide detailed information on why you
are a qualified candidate for the job.

Application Letter should let the employer know what position you are applying
for, what makes you are a strong candidate, why they should select you for an
interview, and how you will follow up.

B. Function of Applying Letter


 To express your interest in attending an institution or receiving a position.
 It showcases your abilities and strengths, and illustrates your experience
 As evidence in applying for a job and also as consideration for the
acceptance of work
C. Structure of Application Letter
The structure and formatting of your application letter are just as important as
the words you use to sell your skills and enthusiasm for the job.
D. Types of Application letter
In making a job application letter before that surely we find news or an
advertisement (iklan) to find out about a vacancy. In an advertisement there
are different job application conditions needed, here are the types of answering
