Block A weighing 1000N rests over a block B which weighs 2000N. Block A is tied to a wall with a horizontal string. If the co-efficient of friction between blocks A and B is 0.25 and B and the floor is 0.33, determine the value of load P required to move block B if P is horizontal. 5. A block weighing 300N is placed over another block which weighs 900N. The blocks are placed on an inclined plane. What will be the value of Ɵ that will make the 900N block down the plane to impend. The co-efficient of friction for all contact surfaces is 0.33. 6. Block A weighing 1500N rests over a block B which weighs 2500N. Block A is tied to a wall with a horizontal string. If the co-efficient of friction between blocks A and B is 0.20 and B and the floor is 0.40, determine the value of load P required to move block B if P acts at 300 upwards to the horizontal. 7. A block weighing 200N is placed over another block which weighs 700N. The blocks are placed on an inclined plane. What will be the value of Ɵ that will make the 700N block down the plane to impend.
