 Cash Cows – stars are Aquafina (biggest selling mineral


water brand), and Sting right now Gatorade has also emerged
as a cash cow because the market grows for health conscious
people.
 Stars – Even though Pepsi’s share in the market has been
reduced to 8.4%, it’s still the star for PBL; because of its brand
equity. With 39% market share in the juice market Slice Juice
has proved its worth with the taste and quality.
 Question Marks – Since it’s a mystery whether the soda
industry will boom in the future and will PBL’s products will
find their place or not, 7up,Mirinda and Mountain Dew fall in
the question marks section of the PBL’s BCG matrix.
 Dogs – Right now in the dog category exists diet Pepsi or
Pepsi max because they have a relatively low market share in
a mature industry like beverages.
