Importance of values
Values reflect what our parents teach us from home, when we are little
they are the ones who tell us what to do and what we should not do,
what is right and what is wrong in society.
The school reinforces these learned values and teach us new ones,
both writing them down and putting them to the test are the first steps
in teaching the values, they tell us in what situations they are reflected.
Values are important as they become the basic determinants of a
society's perceptions, opinions and attitudes.
They help decide whether preferences or events are good or bad,
important or significant, and right or wrong.
Without the values in the world there would be more catastrophes than
there are people would not be ashamed of doing vandalism and would
not be punished for it, many people would be harmed by those
situations.
