As we observed in the first day of our duty, but before of these boss Macky divided us into
seven group and i belong to the group 2 and we are assigned to the Construction and
Design of Three Storey Physical Education, Sports and Wellness Center in the third floor.
As we arrived in the third floor only two persons are their. The one who installed the
600mm by 600mm ceramic tiles with a thickness of 3.5cm. And the other one we asked
him about the installation of ceramic tiles and he told us that much better we use a well-
mixed concrete to avoid the void spaces so that the ceramic tiles installed properly. And
also we asked him the skim coat of the wall and he answered " to make a wall smooth "
and we asked about the stairs because we got confused that the didn't touch the wall.
And he answered the purpose of that is to avoid the vibration during earthquake from the
wall. And we asked again also, how about the space between the stairs and the wall? And
he response the we sale a fresh concrete to the space and also he said that they have
their own techniques in the construction.
