cheap prices and leftovers from rice stalls, he used money of Rp100.000 for two weeks.
Tirta did not dare to report his parents when his life was difficult. The reason is because
they are ashamed that their business has gone bankrupt. Not only the leftover rice, he also
ate stale bread and instant noodles mixed with aking rice. This life must be lived until one
day, Tirta was not strong and reported to his father.

"You have to be grateful for bankruptcy, other people want you to go bankrupt, but you
have to get up," his father said

Since then, Tirta has been trying to get up and brainstorm and try other businesses
by selling his shoe collection. Before selling it, he washed it first to make it look neat. Who
would have thought, if the idea of washing shoes is in great demand. When Mount Kelud
erupted and its ashes reached Jogja the demand for washing shoes are high. The demand for
washing shoes was on the rise and went viral on social media. Although he already has
quite a lot of money from washing shoes, he feels confused between ending or continuing
to do business, but He decided to continue doing business and expand business by building
a shoe washing shop and already has 30 branches and agents in Indonesia. Not only that,
Tirta was also keen to see other opportunities such as selling shoes. This business can not
be separated from the shoe washing business. However he continued to open a doctor's
practice but after being declared a chronic bronkities in 2018, Dr. Tirta chose to take a
break to become an ER doctor.
"I decided to take a break from being an ER doctor, and chose for business and workers,
because half of my workers are children who live on the street," he said

This shoe washing business is increasingly his field after no longer working as a
doctor in the hospital. Moreover, in developing his business in the field of washing shoes,
he also employs underprivileged children, children who live on the street and former
criminals in their place. When he was young, he grew up in an environment that refused
him because he had a face like the ethnic Chinese, as a result he did not have friends, while
the Chinese themselves thought that tirta doctors had Javanese blood so he did not have
friends anywhere, therefore since elementary school he had sought friends in the area the
village that accepts it as it is, the friend is a punk and a thug, with that background, around
60 percent, the average employee in his place is a former criminal, a school dropout, and a
punk

Doctor Tirta's business is now getting results. He already has 19 branches in various
cities in Indonesia. In fact, sometimes he receives orders to take care of shoes from abroad.
Tirta never forgets to help small businesses. He was very open to sharing business
knowledge with novice entrepreneurs and he was committed to remain a doctor.

"Doctor is my passion, and I like to see people heal and smile, so I will practice because I
like it, not because I need money, my money has been fulfilled by my business." he said

He is also active on social media such as Instagram to spread education about a

business even though if he does that in the event, he will be paid but he has the principle
that the one who can change Indonesia for the better is ourselves by sharing the knowledge
that we have as young entrepreneurs to other entrepreneurs.
