FX Trader of the Year Contest 2008:

more than 650 participants registered

FXstreet.com, in collaboration with Nordmarkets, is proud to announce that the


second edition of the FX Trader of the Year Contest already gathered more than
650 competitors! The contest started on March 3rd and register has been
extended until March 17th.

The winner of the 2008 contest will have the chance to manage a $100,000 account at
Nordmarkets. Also he/she will be invited to attend our International Traders Conference
(ITC) in Barcelona in October 2008 and give a speech there.

There will also be prizes for the following subcategories:

 Minimum Drawdown (Casino is my Birthplace)


 Best Sharpe Ratio (The Academic Trader)
 Best Winning Streak (Once in my Life)
 Best Winning Trade (The Lotta Pips Man)
 Worst Trader (Broker's Best Friend)

The contest will be conducted using the Nordmarkets demo platform.


Competition started on March 3rd, 0:00 EST and will last 3 months until June 3rd, 23:00
EST. In view of the tremendous success, registration has been extended until March

Last year, about 60 people took part in the FX Trader of the Year Contest. The winner was
Toersten Kroeger from Germany with a performance of 340.41%. He went to the ITC in
Barcelona and did a speech, sharing his trading tips with the audience.
