Olivia was invited on this project at very short notice as a sound recordist/runner.
She
brought with her a positive and eager attitude and approached this project with confidence. She knew

The
showcases Year 1 students interacting with some of the elderly residents living at Cedars Care Home in
Winscombe. All of these residents were living with dementia. I think we both found it amazing at the change in
the elderly before and after the children arrived. As soon as the children arrived, there were smiling faces,
lots of talking, and one man even ventured outside after 6 months of refusing to go out. It was a day that both
the children and the residents had looked forward to. And it was great to document the excitement, fun, care
and memories.
Liv was amazing. Not only did she help me, but she also interacted, chatted and did craft with the residents
and the children. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else on this project. I thank her for coming out with me on a
day where we could have easily melted (it was very hot)! And as usual, she was a joy to work with.
