'Explore and develop communication skills'

Our main purpose in making this film was to convey the idea that there is life outside of the
online world, and that you should spend time with your loved ones rather than online.
And by focusing on the theme "Dosti," which means "friendship," we were able to convey
that message by showing the relationship between father and son to people while making this
film. This generation, the teenagers, was our target audience since they are constantly on
social media, and nowadays, teens don't really spend time with their parents because of social
media, so there is always some dispute between parents and teenagers. Our film also
addressed the major background for this film, which is that "in these times of pandemic,
people must remain united, care for one another, and bring good change to people's lives."
Due to a communication gap, we had some difficulties communicating. One person used to
take on all of the tasks, leaving us with nothing to do. As a result, our communication was a
little shaky at first, but it eventually smoothed out and we were able to coordinate and
communicate well because we were able to comprehend each other and their perspectives.
We also used to arrange everything ahead of time for our presentations, meetings, and on-set
filming. For pre-planning, we used to hold online meetings or phone calls.
As a consequence, we started collecting useful existing material from social media, including
friendship films. I used to give them various suggestions for how we may exhibit our film,
while others used to show photographs.
Existing information was quite beneficial in terms of offering inspiration and new ideas. We
used to get a lot of inspiration for the type of film we wanted to make, the aesthetics, the
production, and so on.
We were able to converse and share our thoughts through visuals such as Whatsapp and
Zoom Sessions.
This project provided me with the opportunity to learn and use a wide range of new skills and
information. The journey was full of ups and downs from pre-production to production and
finally post-production. It necessitated a great deal of dedication and timeliness. It had not
been an easy journey. But throughout the journey, my teammates and teachers were helpful
and supportive. We had to cope with a variety of challenges as a group. But we'd constantly
come up with a new idea, and that's how we arrived at a conclusion and managed to complete
the film.

Because of the covid 19 scenarios, this project allowed me to explore deeper into people's
lives. Covid appeared normal at first, but we had no idea how big of an impact it would have
on people's lives. I'm pleased I created this film because it will open these young people's
eyes and help them grasp the true meaning of friendship. I also learned that communicating
one's ideas and feelings with one's peers strengthens the bond between them.

Lastly, we presented this film to our teachers, coordinator, and the teenagers who were our
target audience, and we noticed a difference in their lives. Everyone enjoyed it, and I'm
pleased I was able to help folks in such a difficult time as this.
