Subject: Singing competition

Hi,

How are you Clarrisa? I hope you had recovered from your fever and feeling better now. Regarding
on the singing competition last time, it was fun! I enjoyed the competition because there is a lot of
talented students in our school. I was not expecting that our school got some hidden gems that can
actually sing.

The organiser had a varitety of activities that the students can join such as music chairs, dance mob
and many others. For me, I enjoyed the music chair activity.It was very exciting because there’s a lot
of students joined.

Yes,it was fun because I get to decorate the stage using my own style because Jessica ran out of
ideas. We set up the stage using lights and glow in the dark items to make the stage look
amazing.We even put some flowers to make it look more beautiful.

The Cultural Club did say they are planning another competition next month but I did not get any
information about what the activities that are going to be held. I hope you can join us for the
upcoming competition.

 “Extreme sports should be banned”

Write an essay expressing your opinion on the statement.

Extreme sports are extremely dangerous and can lead to serious injury and even death. Some people
enjoyed doing these extreme sports without being scared of death. But as long as it is dangerous and
can lead to death, it should be banned. Therefore I partially agree with the statement saying that
extreme sports should be banned. Thus, there are a few reasons why it should be banned such as it
can lead to serious injuries and death, it can worsen one’s health , and limit the freedom.

First and foremost, extreme sports can cause serious injuries and even death. Extreme
sports such as skydiving, bull-riding, and cheerleading can cause serious injuries if they did not have
enough practice and skills to do it. For example, people who did not have enough experience maybe
facing a hard time to get used to the sport and get badly injured. This can also make them a disabled
person because of the serious injuries that they experienced. Thus, extreme sports can change the
fate of one’s life.

Secondly, extreme sports should be banned because it is not safe for anybody. The sport is
getting dangerous for anyone. For example, a competitive tournament for racing that is held in a
track of dangerous sharp turns and obstacles. If the racers lose control of their wheels they would
get into a serious accident that can cause death for them and the people around them that are
watching the race. Thus, extreme sports should be banned since it is not safe for anybody.

However, if the extreme sports are banned ,it will limit the freedom of the people who
wants to play the sports. Everyone has the right to play any sport they like at any time. Nobody can
stop another person with the passion of playing a sport, or if they want to play that sport. For
example, if we stop people who are passionate to play a dangerous sports , they would be furious
about it and fight for it so they can play the sport . Therefore , extreme sports should not be banned
because it will limit their freedom to play the sports.

In conclusion ,extreme sports can be fun and dangerous at the same time. It can cause fatal
injuries and lead to death but it is some people passion . Thus, extreme sports can cause serious
injuries and even death, it is not safe for anyone , and limit the freedom of the people who wants to
play the sports.
