August Hahn, author of Oblivion's Kiss (the December Living Force

scenario), teams with Morrie Mullins, the campaign's plot director, to offer
the third in our monthly series of supplements to the RPGA's newest
scenarios. Senator Lavina Wren's sweeping new trade proposal is causing a
stir in the Cularin system, amid concerns about her past, her power, and
her personal life. This intriguing news brief, which ties in with Oblivion's
Kiss, raises as many questions as it answers.

. . . and welcome back to Eye on Cularin. In the news today, Senator Wren
is making waves on Coruscant with a sweeping proposal that would bring
reform to the way corporations conduct trade in-system. These reforms
come after a full inquiry into system economics ordered by the Supreme

Chancellor.
The proposal has serious ramifications for big businesses
like Sorosuub and the Metatheran Cartel, who recently
clashed over an interrupted celebration. Details on the
disagreement are currently classified under political
decree. More on this, and on those reforms, as we receive

For those who may not know the name, Lavina Wren has been serving as Cularin's Republic Senator
for three years. Her administration has been responsible for policies like our current treaty with the
Tarasin and the recent taxation changes our companies have been enjoying.

Personally, Senator Wren leads a quiet life and little is known about her private affairs. Social
analyst Sersae Jenreal will be running an exposÄ on the lady later this year. Is she actually a
descendant of Reidi Artom? How much influence does she really have in the Senate? What is the
source of the tension between her administration and the Jedi Academy? Be sure to set your comms
for that broadcast.

More is known about her aide, Merik Darou. A frequent
visitor to Gadrin and Hedrett, Senator Wren's personal
assistant is known for his gregarious appetite for
entertainment. Currently on Cularin, Merik Darou was
unavailable when we tried to contact him for his business
schedule.
