Stream  The encryption FC blade (AR945A) requires a minimum of Fabric OS 6.3.2d for support in the DC04 SAN Director.
 For multipath encryption installations, Fabric OS 6.3.2d or later is required. All arrays indicating support in array streams for the encryption blade or switch
support multipath.

B-series  Encryption with the HP Encryption SAN Switch and the HP Encryption FC Blade is not fully supported withThin Provisioned LUNs in storage arrays. HP
Encryption Device recommends LUNs to be encrypted are fully provisioned. For LUNs that are already thin provisioned and then encryption enabled, be aware that enabling First
Support (AR944A, Time Encryption (FTE) or Re-Key will make the LUN fully provisioned. This restriction is applicable to all arrays except for the HP 3PAR Arrays. With the
AR944B, AR945A, introduction of Fabric OS 7.1.0b, HP now supports Thin Provisioned LUNs on 3PAR with encryption enabled. With the Fabric OS 7.1.0b firmware, the HP
AR945B) Encryption SAN Switch and the HP Encryption FC Blade come with the capability to automatically discover whether a LUN is Thin Provisioned or not and
accordingly display the status, as well. When a LUN status is detected as "Thin Provisioned", then FTE and Re-Key operations are performed on the allocated
blocks only, which results in the provisioned region of the LUN to remain the same even after these operations. See the B-Series Fabric OS Encryption
Administrator's Guide (v7.1.0b or later) for additional details and space reclamation guidelines.

Listed SFP’s required for B-series 16Gb switches, directors and blades. Not
supported on other B-series products except AW538A which is also
supported on 8Gb/s switches.
2Gb device connectivity is not supported on 16Gb switches.
The 10Gb/s SFP’s are supported for 16Gb ports configured for 10Gb/s.
They are not supported in CEE ports.
The 64Gb quad optic is a QSFP with four 16Gb/s ports in one package and
is supported in SN8000B ICL ports.
1 GbE, and 40 GbE transceivers are only supported with SN4000B SAN
Extension switch.
