While I was reading my monography book, I picked out for my research

topic. I came up to a chapter that talked about confidential biomedical

data. And this chapter gives us information about patient’s data, loss of
privacy, patients privacy, etc. I agree with the believes of this chapter,
like how at all times you have to follow HIPAA regulations and that
only the patient its self and a trustworthy person that was chosen by the
patient are able to see the medical records. I believe that if these
regulations are broken that significant person who losses patient
confidentiality or privacy. Should be on probation or even just fired
since it is something really serious here in the United States.I really liked
this chapter because it is not only for people who work in the biomedical
field but also it applies to biomedical students when they are writing
research papers or gathering data of a patient.
