Phạm Trang tốt nghiê ̣p cử nhân khoa Thanh Nhạc tại Nhạc Viện TP.HCM năm 2006
dưới sự hướng dẫn của NSƯT Quốc Trụ. Năm 2011, anh tốt nghiệp thạc sĩ chuyên ngành
biểu diễn thanh nhạc dưới sự hướng dẫn của GS.NSND Trung Kiên. Anh cũng đã theo
học 3 năm với vị  GS Hàn Quốc giọng Tenor Cho Hong Rae. Năm 2012, anh có chuyến
tu nghiệp tại trường Hochschule für Musik thuộc thành phố Freiburg (Cộng Hòa Liên
Bang Đức).
Là một giọng ca nhiều kinh nghiệm, cho đến nay Phạm Trang đã tham gia hàng trăm buổi
biểu diễn trong và ngoài nước. Anh đã thể hiện thành công nhiều trích đoạn aria trong các
opera nổi tiếng thế giới như : Alfredo trong opera La Traviata của G.Verdi, Nemorino
trong opera L’elisir d’amore của G.Donizetti, Rodolfo trong opera La Boheme của
G.Puccini, Don Jose trong opera Carmen của G.Bizet, Calaf trong opera Turandot của
G.Puccini... Cùng với HBSO, anh đã tham gia nhiều vai chính trong các vở nhạc kịch của
nhà hát như : vai Chàng trai Trẻ trong vở Người Giữ Cồn của tác giả GS.NS Ca Lê
Thuần, Turiddu trong opera Cavalleria Rusticana của P.Mascagni, vai hoàng tử Aeneas
trong opera Dido và Aeneas của H.Purcell, vai hoàng tử Tamino trong opera Die
Zauberflöte của W.A.Mozart, vai Alfred trong operetta Die Fledermaus của J.Strauss II,
vai Max trong opera Der Freischütz của C.V.Weber, vai Tình nhân của vợ cũ trong opera
Yesterday’s Memory – opera trinh thám đầu tiên của Việt Nam.
Hiện nay anh đang sinh sống và làm việc tại TP.HCM, giữ chức phó đoàn đồng thời là
diễn viên soloist của Đoàn Nhạc kịch Nhà hát Giao hưởng Nhạc - Vũ kịch, giảng viên
thỉnh giảng của Nhạc Viện Thành Phố và trường Đại học quân đội.

Pham Trang got Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance at Conservatory of Music

HCMC in 2006 under the guidance of Mer.A. Quốc Trụ. He has received his Master of
Arts in Vocal Performance under the guidance of P.A Prof. Trung Kiên in 2011. He also
studied with Prof. Cho Hong Rae (South Korea) in 3 years. After that, in 2012, he got a
refresher course at Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg (Germany).
As an experienced artist, his repertoire includes many art songs and roles in famous
operas such as: Alfredo in Verdi’s opera La Traviata, Nemorino in Donizetti’s opera
L’elisir d’amore, Rodolfo in Puccini’s opera La Boheme, Don Jose in Bizet’s opera
Carmen, Calaf in Puccini’s opera Turandot,… He has performed many concerts and
going on tour to many domestic and foreign venues. Since being HBSO’s member, he has
added several more roles in HBSO’s productions, such as : The Young Fellow in Prof. Ca
Le Thuan’s opera The Dunes Keeper, Turiddu in Mascagni’s opera Cavalleria Rusticana,
Prince Aeneas in Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas, Prince Tamino in Mozart’s opera Die
Zauberflöte, Alfred in Strauss’s operette Die Fledermaus, Max in Weber’s opera Der
Freischütz, Ex-wife’s Lover in opera of crime Yesterday’s Memory – the first operatic
crime in Vietnam.
He is now living in HCMC and currently working as the Deputy Head and a soloist of
HBSO’s Opera Department, guest teacher at Conservatory of Music and Army
University.
