You can use this business function to optimize your processes for closing operations in the Closing Cockpit. Additional processing
functions and an enhanced authorization concept simplify working with task list templates and task lists, which can be processed by
users with different authorizations. Additional organizational levels improve how organizational enterprise structures are considered
when creating task list templates and task lists.
Integration with SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood (CPS) and the Workflow Monitor has been improved, enabling you to
execute, process, and monitor remote tasks and flow definitions directly from within the Closing Cockpit. The transport function is
enhanced for easier reconciliation between individual SAP systems.
The business function has the following features:

Mass change for task attributes
Mass change for task statuses
Transaction for creating task lists
Authorization check for task list templates
Scheduling of remote tasks from within the Closing Cockpit
Detail display for remote tasks within the Closing Cockpit

Integration
The features of this business function are based on the features delivered with the business function Local Close
(FIN_ACC_LOCAL_CLOSE). For more information about integration of the Closing Cockpit, see the documentation of business function

Prerequisites
You have installed the following components as of the version mentioned:

You have made the required settings for the business function Local Close and have activated the business function.
You have activated this business function, Local Close 2.
If you want to use the additional features in the Web application, you have assigned the objects of the Business Package for Closing
Cockpit 1.51 to an existing role and have assigned this role to the appropriate employees.

Mass Changes and Filters


Enhanced filtering in the Web application
The following filter criteria is available for filtering task lists in the Web application:
Mass change for task attributes
You can simultaneously change task attributes for multiple tasks.
Mass change for task statuses
You can manually change the status of multiple tasks simultaneously. When doing so, you can enter a reason for each status change,
which then appears in the status overview.

Authorization Concept
Transaction for creating task lists
You can use a separate transaction for creating task lists. This does not require authorization for processing task list templates.
Authorization check for individual task list templates
You can assign authorizations for processing individual task list templates. The authorization is checked for each task list template.

Remote Tasks
Scheduling of remote tasks from within the Closing Cockpit
You can change and delete the scheduling of remote tasks directly from within the Closing Cockpit. This does not require access to
SAP CPS.
Detail display for remote tasks within the Closing Cockpit
In the detail view, you can display the status and other relevant details of remote tasks without having to access SAP CPS.

Flow Definitions
Status display for flow definitions in the Closing Cockpit and integration of the workflow monitor
In the detail view, you can display the overall status of flow definitions. You can branch to the workflow monitor to display the status
information of individual steps of the flow definition.

Organizational Levels
Additional organizational levels delivered by SAP
The standard delivery now contains the organizational levels Plant and Controlling Area/Plant.

Factory Calendar
Allocation of factory calendars for task folders
You can allocate different factory calendars to task folders. Factory calendars allocated at the template level are not considered
here.

Transport of Task List Templates


Transport of additional components of task list templates
When manually transporting task list templates to other systems, you can specify which components are included with the template
(for example, flow definitions).
