My bedroom
I love this picture of my bedroom. You can see my bed 1on the left and my bedroom door 2in
the top, right corner. My favourite suitcase is 3in the top left corner, on top of the
wardrobe, always ready for a holiday! I like reading a book when I go to bed. You can find
the book I'm reading at the moment 4in the bottom, left corner by the side of my bed. Mum
always tells me to put my shoes away but I sometimes forget to do it. You can see them 5in
the bottom, right corner. Can you see my lamp? It is there, right 6in the foreground. Mum
let me choose it from the shop. And 7in the background you can see a poster of my
favourite film saga, The Hunger games.

Hi Monica!
a. How are you? I'm writing this from Scotland! I'm here on holiday with my parents and
my brother. We're having a great time!
b. On Monday, we arrived in Glasgow and we spent the day going to art galleries. It was
great! There were lots of paintings and sculptures. There was even a painting by my
favourite artist, Salvador Dalí.
c. Well, I like visiting galleries, but my brother Tim can't stand looking at art! So, on the
second day, we went to the city centre. While we were sightseeing, I bought a necklace
and a new bag. Tim didn't buy anything.
d. We stayed in Glasgow two nights, and on Wednesday we went to Edinburgh, the
capital of Scotland. Edinburgh and Glasgow are very different. Glasgow is bigger than
Edinburgh and it's more lively. But Edinburgh has older buildings than Glasgow and
it's the most beautiful city.
e. The next day, we went to Loch Ness. We had a really good day there. We took lots of
photos, but we didn't see the monster!
f. Yesterday we drove to the mountains and we saw Ben Nevis (it's the tallest mountain
in Britain!).
