To whomever it may concern,

I am currently seventeen and a senior at Carson Senior High School. Since freshman
year, I have been eager to learn about the many opportunities I could have as well as learn about
the different experiences that are outside of my comfort zone. With that in mind, during my
sophomore year, I joined Color Guard/Tall Flags in order to push myself into opening up my
communication as well as leadership skills. For two years, I have been the captain of Color
Guard and my skills have improved a lot since sophomore year. As a leader, I am faced with
many challenges that have taught me valuable lessons that can be applied to my future career.

Color Guard is just one of my talents that make up who I am. As the captain of Color
Guard, I am confident in my ability to handle many situations that allows me to:

 present a professional attitude

 manage my time excellently
 keep my work organized.

I am a quick learner and can perform difficult tasks under pressure. My interests include
music, science, psychology, and physically working in general because of the excitement it gives
me and the will to achieve goals with hard work.

As a student interested in becoming an engineering psychologist, working under pressure

and having great knowledge in math, science, and psychology are some of the many skills I
possess to be successful in not just my interested career, but other careers as well. At the moment
I consider myself to be a competitive student and an overachiever. Throughout high school, I
always make sure to get mostly A's on all my report cards with some exceptions of B's. With
this, I always make sure I am the best I can be and always give it my all no matter what.
