QUESTION 1
In every situation there are successes and challenges and I personally faced some challenges in
the course of my studies. I am still faced with a few challenges which I believe I can go through
them and reach my friend goal. In the first place, I lost all my parents even before I went to
university. This brought about some very serious financial difficulties. Only one of my 3 brothers
is working and has his own family but he, up to now sacrificed to pay for my studies. Of course
here and there I find myself in areas but he goes all the hog out to bail me out.
Since I am studying on line, I have to have data so as to do through research and presentation of
my assignments. I sometimes run out of data and have to scratch top get some kind of data to
be able to submit my assignment at one stage I had to submit an assignments with a deadline of
19:00 but I ran out of data and there was load shedding as well. I struggled to call my brother to
buy me some data and wait for 21:00 to submit the Assignments.
As for now and so far my academic journey is a road that is not so level in terms of finance but I
am on the right track and endeavor not to succumb to any challenge but Have a way round. In
actual fact I take every challenge that comes my way as a learning.
The other challenge was the power cuts other to load shedding.
My computer crashed and I was offered another one by a friend.

Curve and deal with each challenge full of hope that I will eventually make it, as of now there is
light at the end of the tunnel and I strongly believe that I will go through my studies in the next
couple of months.

QUESTION 2

Will power and hope are the biggest personal qualities I believe I do hold. I believe I can break
through in everything that I do for as long as I have the will power and hope. I set my targets and
focus on what I really want to achieve and work tirelessly to get to my target. On the other hand
I am very good and formulating my own objectives and give them a time frame as to when I
should actually achieve my objectives.

It is also one of my strength that I do not allow situations and challenges to derail my plans. I am
self a starter and I set pace for myself. Of course at my age, a number of factors like peer pressure
to break of studies and go playing, do manifest themselves but I have set my goal and succumbing
to peer pressure would actually betray my goals and aims. I always patch up my data and my
study material with doing some piece jobs so as to assist my brother in financial matters.

I have to a greater extend been able to swallow my pride as a graduate and stop as low to take
up even car washing to anger my financial difficulties. Hard as it present itself, I so far have
managed to stand the test of time. One other strength that I have is patience I have always told
myself that patience is a virtue, thus whatever I do, I strongly believe that I need to be patient so
that, I map my way round the problem and continue with my precious studies. I am also very
time conscious and I do my work as per schedule. I have always beaten the load shedding due to
careful planning thus. I am up to date with all my academic work. In short I believe I have all the
strength, power and time to break through.
Despite my financial situation, I so far have come pout victorious to all challenges and definitely
I will make it to my charioted God!

QUESTION 3

My elder brother has been my pillar of hope and also have my other brothers and a sister to
thank for the support they have given me so far. I have realized that family is a unit that one
cannot for go in terms of trying to reach one goal. Other than the financial support, I directly
need moved and psychological support from my immediate family member, since my family are
the first ever institution I belongs to the sense of belongingness, unity and purpose has really
shown out in my family. They have shown great support both financial and materially. For
example, during the peak of load shedding, I desperately needed light to study with my study
guides, and my sister sacrificed to buy me a solar light so that I shouldn’t miss out on my studies.

Struggling as she is too financial she decided to support me and that really helped me to study.my
elder brother who are not working have always had session with me to mentally and
psychologically accept our situation and help to gather that courage that I will eventually make
it. Yes, the bridge seemed very narrow at the beginning but then with the support I am receiving
from my family, the bridge has widened and reaching my goal is really possible. In a nutshell, my
family has owned my studies and challenges and It has since become a family union to fight off
whatever may have and still has to stand in my way to achieving my goal of becoming a teacher.

In other words the support and collaborating I have received from my family so far not only helps
me to complete my studies, but rather mound me to become a good teacher who is ready to
adapt hamlet in the fourth industrial revolution classroom.

QUESTION 4

My community has been so handy in my studies and they have contributed to my studies in many
different ways. If I needed money for data and research, some members of the community like a
local business , has always given me some part jobs and paid me. I would then use the money to
buy food and move specifically data so that I would always keep posted to my studies. My friend
have always offered me some kind of hot spotting with their Wi-Fi especially one former college
mate who owns an internet café.

He has helped me with all print outs and downloading of my study material, indeed it has come
to my light that even if you seem to have all what you need there is always a positive community
assistance one can receive to assist you in one way or the offer to achieve what you want. In my
case I have experience that without the help of the community members, I could have even
struggled further. Their support, emotionally and physically have contributed much to let me get
very resistant to my challenges during study. At one stage my neighbor who has a generation
assisted me to post my assignments when the was a load shedding.

The community have been quite hardy and this further reign forces my what I learnt in my studies
that the community play s pivoted role in developing a fully-fledged learner during his time in
school conclusively, my community, friends and relatives have played quite a significant role in
helping me shrug off all the pressure that has been exerted to me by the challenges, I mentioned
earlier.

I am Tsonga and I have a good history of how my people get initiated into adult hood. I personally
attended the initiation school and the teachings we received there emphasized on being resilient
to challenge in life. The never give up mind is fostered in the initiation as they go through the
rigorous process of initiation. It has come handy now in my studies that even if life presents itself
with challenges beyond our control, one has to take such challenges as learning curves and
soldier on with what one has an aim at stake. Truly speaking some of the believes norms and
values enshrined in my culture stood up to support me to trust in my life, gather courage and
confidence and above all remain focused to achieving my objective of becoming, not only a
teacher but a transforms in the education that that is in the 4IR classroom. On the other hand,
being a Christian who regularly attend church I have had a lot of support from the brother’s
