1500 words in total (+/- 10%), excluding references.
CASE: Select a dramatic film, television program, or documentary that
takes place in an organizational setting. Do not use a comedy for
this assignment.
Watch an episode or lengthy scene and use it as a case-study
observation of leadership behavior. How is the leader’s style
portrayed? What about the followers’ styles? What environmental
conditions are they dealing with in the organization?
Include as many of the leadership elements discussed in this
chapter as appropriate, change, creativity, organizational diversity,
organizational structure, etc.
Position yourself as a management consultant to the organizational
leader portrayed in the program and write a detailed analysis of the
interactions that occurred in the episode and make
recommendations for improvement, as appropriate.

Students are expected to update the information in the case
through their own additional research.
