    Toru begins in a neutral stance as Uke attacks with a long sword. The first technique has Toru stepping left and countering with a wrist turn to Uke's wrist. The second has Toru again stepping left and rising to strike Uke's wrist before stepping in with the right foot to strike the throat. The third has Toru stepping left to deflect then stepping left again to strike Uke's ribs with an inward strike.

    OKUDEN NO KATA

    Tori is in otonashi no kamae.


    Uke attacks with a daito.

    1. HANE OTOSHI

    Uke cuts with jodan Kiri. Tori steps out to the left and does a kuri kaeshi to the kote.

    2. MATA GAKE

    Uke cuts with Jodan Kiri. Tori steps out to the left, and strikes upward to the Kote. Tori then steps
    in with the right foot,and strikes with Katate Age Uchi to Rin.

    3. KOTE HARAI

    Uke cuts with Jodan Kiri. Tori steps out to the left, and a Kuri Kaeshi. Tori then steps out to the
    left. With the right side Tori strikes the kasumi, with kasumi Uchi.
