SUBJECT: REQUIRING GEO-TAGGED PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE
LAND SUBJECT OF PUBLIC LAND APPLICATIONS (PLAs)
DURING THE OCULAR INSPECTIONANVESTIGATION
In order to ensure integrity in the processing of PLAs during ocular inspection and
investigation, the public land inspectors/investigators are hereby required to take geo-tagged
photographs showing the location of the subject lot and its existing improvements together with
the actual occupant or his/her representative
At least three (3) photographs of the subject area shall be taken using at least a 3.2
‘megapixel camera resolution and shall have the following information:
1. Geographic Position (Latitude, Longitude),and
2. Date and Time.
The shots shall be taken at a distance that will show the different angles of the subject
lot. A picture of the investigator/inspector in the subject lot shall also be taken
The geo-tagged photographs shall be included as attachment in the investigation report
to be submitted by investigator/inspector.
The geo-tagged photographs shall be at the cost of the government and at no time shal!
be charged to the applicants.
This Order takes effect immediately and revokes/amends all other issuances inconsistent
herewith.
