ADMINISTRATIVIC ORDER

SUl3JECT: DIRECT SUPERVISION OF THE SPECIAL ACTIONS

AND INVESTIGATIONS DIVISION BY THE SPECIAL
CONCERNS OFFICE

In the interest of service and in view of the continuing

rationalization efforts of the Department, the administrative and
functional supervision of the Special Actions and Investigations Division
(SAID) shall be placed under the Director of the Special Concerns Office
(SCO).

A s such, SAID personnel are hereby ordered to report directly to

the aforesaid Office and shall continue to perform duties and functions
as provided for under DENR Administrative Order No. 1, Series of 1988.

In line with the functions of the Task Force Sagip-Kalikasan, the

SAID may be called upon to render assistance in the enforcement of
environmental laws and monitor compliance with pertinent directives
and policies of the Department.

This Order takes effect immediately and revokes other orders

inconsistent herewith.
