Smith,
I am writing to request you to allow me to pay the rent by mid-May
instead of 1st May, as per the lease contract.
I’ve been your tenant for the past 2 years, and, as you know, I have
always been very consistent in paying my rent and other
maintenance expenses. However, due to the current pandemic
caused by Covid-19, my company has deducted 50% of the
paycheck, for all employees, for a quarter. I, myself, is finding it
very difficult to make ends meet as I must pay tuition fees for 2 of
my children. Hence, thought of reaching out to you for some
support.
Meanwhile, I have sold some of my shares, but it would take
couple of days for the amount to get credited into my account. I
can assure you that by 15th May, I will personally come and hand
over the cheques to you.
