40 - Students will split into groups of four
minutes
- Each student in the group will fill out one section of the worksheet

- After 5 mins students will rotate, so that each student was contributed to
each to each section of the worksheet Worksheet

Explicitly model the task first to students, so they have an understand what is expected of
them

 Review jigsaw activity

 PowerPoint summarising the learning content from week 2 and 3 (separation of


powers, division of powers, role of the house of representatives and the senate)

Students to add information missing from their jigsaw from the PowerPoint

Whilst students are completing worksheets, circulate around the classroom to assist
students and gage their understanding of the topic.
