Please reflect on the following quotes and give a short explanation of your interpretation.

1. “A good health is based on a reasonable physical exercise, so sport is truly important for our human life”

2. “The sweat is the footprints towards a better you”

Answer # 1
While we are all under the Enhanced Community Quarantine, we have all the time we need to
do exercises each morning every day, and even simple stretching would do. I believe that people
should be doing physical activities more during this pandemic as it will improve our immunity and
resistance to the virus. The enemy of doing physical activities is one person’s laziness; we should
keep in mind that we need to exercise every day. Being physically fit and healthy need no excuses.
However, If you really don’t feel like exercising, you could always incorporate it into your hobbies and
do it with fun. For example, if you are a TikTok user, you can learn and practice dancing which we
know is a form of sport. You could also play other sports with your friends or family members like
badminton, basketball, and etc. Not only you are helping your body but you are also having fun.
Sports is not just a recreational activity but it is also to keep our body healthy. 

Sport and any form of physical exercise is truly a necessity in man’s life. There are a lot known
benefits of doing regular physical activity like managing your weight better, lowering the risk of having
infections and diseases, strengthening the bones, muscles, and joints, and reducing the risk of a
heart attack. Of course, physical exercise is just one aspect in achieving a healthy body because
there are a lot more factors to consider like choosing the food you eat or having a balanced diet.
Another thing is not letting stress come to your mind, hence, we should also take care of our mental
health. Especially during times like this where we are locked up in our homes, we experience
boredom which can eventually lead to sadness and even depression if joined by other external
factors. Exercising can also help relax our minds and let go of stress while detoxing our bodies.
Fitness activities will not just make you look good outside but it will also make you feel good on the
inside. Remember that good health is a good holistic self.

Answer # 2
“Success necessitates sacrifice.” It is true what the old people say that you cannot achieve a
thing if you will not work hard for it. I believe that in every hard work that we do, we will always
accomplish something. We sweat because we work. Sweat here symbolizes the hardships we have
done. If there is no sweat, then there is no work done. Relating to my answer in number 1, when we
exercise hard, we sweat. If we sweat, we let out toxins from our body which is actually good for our
health. Then, it will lead you to your better self. You can not just plan goals and wait for them to
happen; you must work for it. Every success has a hard work behind it and no one said that you will
go there flawlessly and in a straight direction or path. We will always encounter problems and what
we need is to have a mindset that we can actually make it. No matter how hard it is, we could always
go little by little until it adapts to our lifestyle. I believe that what a person needs are motivation and
discipline. Remember that you are stronger than your excuses. A man who wants to achieve
something must not doubt himself. Just believe that you can do it, then work for it and earn it.
