Transportation in the future Arturo J.

Campos Saldivar

Since man learned to move, until he started using animals to transport, going through
revolutionary methods of transport such as the train, the car or the plane, it has been
a long time, but what does the future of transport have in for us? .
The first steps have been taken where more efficient transport has been created,
pollute less, be safer and take less time. Because in the end, in this fast-paced
society what matters most is "time".
According to Back to the future, we should already be flying the skies with our flying
car. I personally like this idea, it is quite far from materializing, not to say that today
and in the coming decades it is very unlikely that it will happen because it is not only
about developing this technology that has already been done, but that people would
require a new and strict driver education.
What is ever closer and in use only in prototypes is autonomous driving. For some
time now, autonomous driverless vehicles have started to circulate. Tesla or
Mercedes have been one of the first brands to enter this new era of transportation.
The great benefits of this mode of transport is what is making the big brands invest
in this new technology. Simply in a situation like a night when we are not fit to drive
or if we have an emergency and need to go to the hospital and we cannot get behind
the wheel an autonomous car would be very useful, but personally I think that it
should not be 100% autonomous It needs the human, I think there are certain things
that a machine will not be able to process. Human control is necessary.
Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and director of projects like SpaceX, wants to be
at the forefront of the transportation revolution. If you broke the industry with
high-end Tesla vehicles and are entering the space adventure, now you are going
to try your luck with trains. Through his company The Boring Company announced
that the first tunnel of its Hyperloop trains is very close to being completed. This
Hyperloop technology aims to cut rail travel times, using high-speed trains that
promise to connect New York and Washington in 30 minutes, or to get from
downtown Los Angeles to the airport in just 10 minutes.

Based on the new technologies accessible to human beings, the changes that are
coming to transport are very great, with the large populations that are found in cities,
it is reducing times the engine for these changes, but I believe that it should
never be forgotten that the human needs to accompany and monitor that change.
