CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES

• Leaving huge impact to the gaming phone market


• Boosting Brand Awareness
• Emphasizing Blackshark 3 as Professional Gamer Equipment
KICKSTART - CREATING NOISE

To successfully launch the Blackshark 3, we will create hype between gamers in Indonesia by
recreating the Apex’s case study with concrete follow-up plan.

There are 2 main points for the early launch :

1. Streamer Challenge
2. Targeted Marketing Campaign
STREAMER CHALLENGE

We will put on a list of streamers with decent number of subscribers to compete in Streamer
challenge campaign. This campaign is targeting the casual players and those esports fans who are
seeking for entertainment contents.

How to join :
1. Registration and Confirmation to join the campaign
2. They will play PUBGM / Free Fire using “Demo phone Blackshark 3”. *
3. They queue matchmaking and livestream for 3 hours and 3 days. ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday )
4. Point system ( 1 kill = 1 point , 1 Win = 7 points )
5. Breaktime for TVCs every finished match ( 5mins ads slot )
6. Winner will receive Blackshark 3 as prizes

*Will need to ask the developer which one will support in-game currencies or coupons to help
engage the viewers.
TARGETED MARKETING CAMPAIGN

While the Streamer challenge will rack up those casual players and esports fans. We
still need to get the professional and competitive player attention.
In this campaign, we will use the classic way to ensure those who want to get better in
Esports scene will always think Blackshark 3 is the answer.

How to engage :
1. We will use professional players from notable teams in Indonesia to post in their
personal Instagram account and give review about the Blackshark 3.
2. We will also put Youtube unskippable ads in many “Tips n Trick Video” , or “Top
plays of the week Video”.
THE CASE STUDY – APEX LEGENDS

Apex legends was very unique in how they did marketing for their game. Nobody knew
that Apex Legends was coming out until the day of release.
On the day of release, EA paid a lot of streamers to play the game and review it for
a whole duration of 3 days ( weekend ).
Most of them ended up being addicted to the game and continue to streaming it for
free ( due to game generating a lot of viewers for the streamers )

Althrough Apex Legends had a successful launch that netted them 50 Million players in
less than 2 weeks, they did not follow it up with a concrete plan for people to keep
playing the game.
THE CASE STUDY – CALL OF DUTY : WARZONE
Call of Duty™ is already a well-known FPS video game franchise that published by Activision. They wanted to release
the new battle royale mode called Call of Duty :Warzone. A Free-to-play for all 3 famous platforms ( XBox, PC ,
Playstation4 ).

The game finally released in 10th March 2020. With the hype coming up from the franchise itself, they also sponsored a
lot of youtube content creator to play and stream their game.
With a small guidance such as, using similar hashtags in title video, livestreaming or uploading in the same time, they
bring uniqueness from every content creator and from any genre.

In return, the streamer will gain #CODPartner official, which make the streamer receive monetary benefit.
They even create weekly stream challenge every Wednesday for sponsored streamer and play in the same lobby. This
is a mini All-star match that will generate huge number of views.

The content creator themselves are willingly or paid to create more VODs for the game such as highlights, how to play,
funny moments, and impressions due to the demand from the community.

With this campaign, they earn total viewership of 200k ( twitch and youtube ) included, but these are all famous
streamers. And also more than 140% daily active user growth in 2 weeks.
SUMMARY

Using Apex’s unfortunate event as the lesson, in pararell doing to the Streamer Challenge, the
influencers will follow-up the campaign with social media post and reviews.
This will ensure the whole market of mobile gaming will receive the info about Blackshark 3 from
the casual and daily players, to the competitive one.
