Evidence: A scholarship for me

Most universities and higher education institutions around the world offer
scholarships as an option for those students who don’t have the budget to
afford the tuition fees. They usually require good grades from previous studies
and a solid interest in the field of study. Although the standards for a
scholarship may seem difficult for some people, it is not impossible to obtain
one, and sometimes students miss the chance to apply because they just think
they are not good enough for it. However, there are different options when
trying to obtain a scholarship. Some are more demanding than others but there
are always options. It is just a matter of dedicating some time to search carefully
online.

In this evidence you are going to search for a scholarship that matches your
interests and career objectives. Then you are going to write a report about it. If
you are not planning to continue your studies, then you can search a
scholarship for a friend of yours.

 Why does this scholarship call your attention?

I always have been interested about learn more about the different techniques
in the illustration art and I think that is an awesome opportunity to complement
knowledge about my grade, especially because in Industrial design this
knowledge area is taken just a little and is one of my strengths, also I think this
scholarship is a good idea because the institute is located in France, and I love
that culture, not only would be a learning space if not also a place to enjoy. I am
always positive and passionate with my learning projects.

 How is it related to your career objectives?

The correct representation of objects to be developed in the industry is a skill
that have to learn the industrial designers, although this program offers the
illustration focus on the narrative draw, all its tools are also used in the design of
products for the representation of the different proposal, and the narrative draw
is an area I really want to learn for other kind projects.

 How is the content of the program structured?

The Ecole Pivaut institute in France offer the students a program with different
areas to especially applied to arts in narrative draw, between the subjects, the
students can learn illustration, concept art, typography, infographic and living
model, also if the student want to continue his studies, he can make a
specialization in Montreal with 1 year more of the study.

 What are the requirements to apply?

The requirements are to have a bachelor, submit an admission test, and submit
a sketchbook.

 Which requirements do you already have and which do you need to

complete?
At the moment I have a sketchbook with some of my illustration projects which I
can participate in the admission tests of the institute already, but I have to
present the admission test with the draw programs and also improve my French
to be able to aspire to take part of this program.

 Include ideas and vocabulary related to professional skills and education

learned in the study material. In the report, underline the ideas included.
Include at least 3 ideas.
