Salary: Salary: £ 28,331 p.a., 37 hours / week.
General Roles:
● Provide support to a collaborative project between University of Plymouth, Kernow Health, Cornwall
Partnership in Care, Patients Association, and Creative England. The EPIC (E-health Productivity
and Innovation in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly) project will focus on the needs of patients and
people receiving care developing new products and/or services within the e-health sector with
design/tech companies in Cornwall.
● Work with clinicians and others in the design and development of apps, new products, new services
or the implementation of existing products.
● Work with ad hoc groups arising from the 10 geographically defined workshops as well as helping
these groups to review existing apps and technology and work with Creative England and Cornish
SMEs to develop new products or proposals for the Challenge Fund.

Project – IMPROVE study
Supervisor – Professor John Campbell, Professor of General Practice and Primary Care
Salary: £30,434 p.a. Hours: 1.0 FTE.
• Quantitative Researcher for Project 2 of the IMPROVE study, directly responsible for
recruiting and liaising with GP practices to conduct a postal survey of patients’ views.
Working closely with practice staff, performing data extraction from practice systems,
conducting the postal survey, managing response data and compiling individual
feedback reports for participating GPs. Created and maintained IMPROVE
Programme Website (https://improve.exeter.ac.uk). Conducted video recordings of
patient consultations with GP's and structured interviews with patients. Edited video
recordings and worked in team that devised a secure web-based platform for viewing
and rating consultation videos.
