INTRODUCTION OF LESSON:

TEXTUAL PARAGRAPHS

Rahul is a four- year-old boy. He lives in Guwahati.

The other children in the colony are much older than him, so Rahul does
not have any friends.

When Rahul gets bored watching Television, he sits in the veranda of his
house. Every evening a cat visits him. Rahul calls him Chintoo and feeds
him with tit-bits.

Chintoo loves to eat cream biscuits. He does not like milk and bread. When
Rahul cannot get any biscuits for him, he makes an angry meowing sound.
SUMMARY:

This lesson is about a boy named Rahul who is four year old. He does not

have any friends in the colony as he is younger than the other children. He

sits in the veranda of his house whenever he gets bored watching television.

In the evenings a cat visits him and he feeds it with tit-bits. Rahul calls it as

Chintoo.

Chintoo likes to eat cream biscuits and when Rahul fails to get

them, Chintoo makes an angry meowing sound.
