ANCHORING DEPARTMENT

Scope – To Anchor the Convocation Ceremony of 6 th Batch Graduates on 9th of March 2020 at Infini Institute of Construction
Project Management Room no. 307 from 10:00 am – 12:45 pm

Success Criteria –

1. Anchoring of the full event

2. Start of Event on time
3. End of event on time or before
4. All instructions to be mediated and carried out by Event management team,
5. Smooth conduct of Event as per the schedule
6. All audience engaged throughout the event
7. Welcome, Introduce and Felicitate dignitaries as per the Schedule provided
8. All instructions given should be clear, should be understood by all and follow it thoroughly
9. Control the mis-conduct and unruly behaviour of audience
10. At of end of event provide Instruction for the further activities

Percentage Success –

Percentage of Success of Scope here is measured as per the Success Criteria mentioned above –

90 % of Scope was fulfilled as during the Reward distribution of Vision Board Presentation, even after instruction Mr. Anil
Kesari went to dais before actual reward distribution, may be the instructions were not exactly clear to what has to be done
during that time.

Good Morning one & all. As we are witnessing the Tilak ceremony, let me share the importance of this
Ritual. Applying Tilak is a kind of worship of God. The forehead signifies spirituality, so when a long tilak is
put starting from Ajana Chakra and moving upwards then it is to take the individuals thought towards
spirituality.

6. Introductory Speech - Spark 2020 1030-1035

Rahul - Respected dignitaries, parents & my dear friends a very good Morning to one and all.
I'm Rahul and I'm Meghana, we both take the privilege and honor of hosting this event “Spark 2020
Kya kehti ho meghana , is chingari ka agaaz ek sher k sath kiya jaye ?
Meghana – Irshaad Irshaad…
“Palak jhapakte hi aankho ke rubaru kayi khwaab hue,
Rahul -
Kal tak the Jo shaam ke jugnu, Maano jaise aftaab hue”
Or Sabse roshan aftaab, Humare INFINI STAR jinse hum apko is event k akhir me rubaru kraenge.
Let me start the proceedings of the event with our name as “SPARK”
A spark is the start of a raging fire.
The fire which is the foundation of civilisation.
That same spark is in your heart pushing you to become raging fire and be the foundation to the future
It transform you to lead others with the same fire and enlightens their path with same brightness.

Meghana – It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all on behalf of Infini Institute of Construction
Project Management to this convocation ceremony.
Now, the time has arrived, for which we have been waiting for,
Yes… now it’s the time to celebrate the achievements of a group of exceptionally talented individuals.
I know today is the day of happiness. You might be very much excited and you might have lot of things to
share amongst yourself, but I am sure you all will be co-operative & supportive with us in order to complete
the program within the given time.

7. Infini Prayer 1035-1040

Meghana – As the tradition of infini institute let us immerse ourselves in infini prayer but before that let me
share a few words about infini prayer, Faith and prayer ray the vitamins of soul. We can’t live without them.
This prayer does not change God, but it changes the one who prays God.

Rahul – Indeed prayers changes the person who prays to god

Now allow me to connect you to that time when your first stepped in our institute, a happy, joyful and
smiling face greeted us all and make us the part of infini family whole heartedly

9. Retired Col. Shashank natu Intro and Felicitation 1045-1055
Rahul – Thank you swanand sir, your smile and your words really is an inspiration to us all
also let me take this opportunity to introduce you all to our today’s guests -
Our chief guest of todays event is Retired Col. Shashank Natu
He is 3rd generation army officer.
He has pursued Btech in Mechanical engg, Msc in defense technology,
MBA in HR and he is Fellow of Institute of engineering. He joined National Defense Academy in 1991.
He had been company commander in Rashtriya rifles at Kashmir and Indian regiment.
He served many infra projects and was extensively involved in road project along China border.
He was associated with DRDO in developing computer-based simulation for war centre of Army
He took VRS in 2018 and joined Karandikar Lifespaces as director and completed 3 projects in stipulated
budget and time

10. Mr Jaikumar Salavi Intro and Felicitation

Meghana – I hope Most of you guys will be familiar with our first guest of honour as he is part of our Infini
Board of Advisors
He is non other than Mr jaikaumar Salavi Vice president – Business development and tendering at Galfar
Engineering and contracting ltd having turnover of over 1 billion US dollar
He is with Galfar since day one, and has seen all the ups and downs of Galfar
Today he has a vast experience of 36 years in tendering, project management, contact management and is
responsible for pulling the money from market for the company
He achieved strategic growth of organization with fair growth rate and timely completion of many projects
with utmost safety and quality, played key role in developing and implementing Project mgmt software.
He played an instrumental role in upcoming oversees internship for 7 th batch

11. Mr kumud Sonawane intro and felicitation

Meghana – Rahul jaise tumne apni shayri me aftaab ki baat khi thi, aj humare beech 2 nd batch k sabse roshan
aftaab mojood hai , jo humare second guest of honour hai
Mr Kumud Sonawane Completed Civil engineering fron Late GN Sapkal College of Engineering in 2014
He pursued PG at our Infini Institute and was the INFINI Star of Second Batch 2016
He has worked with reputed companies like Ellora Buildcon Nashik , Millennium Group Pune
And currently working as Executive Planning Engineer in ABIL and we are very proud of you sir
And taking this opportunity we would like to congratulate and Wish him a Happy Married life as he
recently got married to Mrs. Kaveri Sonawane

He is currently working as Acting Construction Manager at Aspire Gulfar, Oman

Rahul - Since we all are familiar with our guests now,
I Have a question for you, Meghana you are not allowed to answer so….
At the embarkment of this journey we guys were reminded of a 3-digit number. Public any guesses??
Let me enlighten you all with 335 days that’s your journey with our Infini family.
Though ade sir had planned for only 335 days, but we were so fond of you that we ended up extending
your journey to more than 400 days

14. Mr. Jaikumar Salavi Speech 1100-1110

Meghana - Our Guest of Honour Mr Jaikumar Salvi has crossed oceans to be with us on this occasion. So we
would like to hear some of his stories and experiences in life to push our students a level above.

Carrying forward those vision boards that we made are the affirmations of one’s dreams and desires,
prepared by each and every individual to serve as a source of inspiration, motivation and to use the law of
attraction to achieve goals. 8th batch students have taken efforts in making their dreams come true through
these vision board.

Meghana – Its Certainly seems true, “the bigger you dream, the Greater you achieve” all candidates
presented very well, but we all will have to wait till the results are evaluated

Meghana - Every Coin has two faces and same goes for those 335 days as one was introduced by our
ade sir and for second, let me invite special friend of mine Surbhi from 6th batch moreover today
being Womens Day she has some special thoughts to share with us all today

18. Speech by Kumud Sonawane 1135-1140
Rahul – Seeing us all working together and feeling the vibrations that he has once felt during his
journey of infini, a few years back he was on the same journey as us, the dreams that we have in our
eyes now, which he saw and made them come true through sheer will and talent, I would like to invite
our guest of honor Kumud sir to have a few words with and also tell about his vision board and where
he has reached till now

Rahul - So finally our postgraduates have received certificates which are the permanent tickets to be
part of our Infini Warrior Group.
Meghana- Rahul you know what I am curious about something.

Meghana- You know about our chief guest, right?
Rahul- Obviosuly I know , it was me who introduced him with all us
Meghana – yeah regarding that how can a person with military background be director of a real state
company

Rahul - For many years now, stars have being guiding the sailors in those vast and distant Oceans,
Their light brightens the darkest night and make the endless emptiness to be beautiful and those are
the qualities we need in our infini star – Leadership, Time Bound , confidence and glorious attitude .
Meghana - Infact if we put all the adjectives together they cannot describe the qualities of that person
perhaps title of “INFINI STAR“ will

Risks Identified –
1. 6th Batch students might get late and Start of ceremony might get delayed so timings should be
communicated
2. All Dignitaries might not be able to come at same time hence their introductions and Felicitations
have to be conducted according to availability in such case
3. Audience might not behave properly hence disciplinary action might have to be taken by event
management team
4. Event might get delayed due to prolonged speeches hence small chits to be passed in order to notify
the shortage of time to speaker
5. In case of delay of event anchoring to be cut short and main activities to be conducted
6. In case event ahead of schedule and any other branch not prepared to take over programme so its
need to be extended by some additional activities and speeches
7. Might be possible that Someone from 6 th batch student is absent so the certificate distribution name
announcement should be changed accordingly
