clear vision with their supervisor. Through this process employees can apply for various human resource
development programs, such as an MBA, academic training, regional expert class, or job expert course.
STaR Sessions provide employees with a fair and transparent opportunity in their developmental
process through which they can experience a variety of innovation and creative programs, while also
allowing the company to build a pool of selected candidates to infuse employee learning and a
development system into our strategic and organizational needs. Every year, over 2,000 employees
apply for the company’s learning and development programs through the STaR Sessions, and Samsung
manages the human resource development pool that consists of the most important selected

Career Management Job Posting Samsung provides employees with the chance to change jobs through

Job Posting can be conducted anytime when there are job openings. Additionally, all procedures—from
announcements and the receiving of applications to the screening process including interviews—are
carried out using a computerized system. Career Consulting Center Samsung launched the Career
Consulting Center (CCC) in 2001 in order to provide retirees with opportunities for a new start and to
support current employees preparing for their future. This is the company’s future-planning program to
provide employees with practical assistance. The CCC’s major functions include job changing education
& consulting, career consulting for current employees, and external job matching. Job changing

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: White Box Tester

Job Description: The person will be involved in white box testing of Samsung Mobile phones. He/She will
be part of a growing team and will get opportunity to showcase his/her skill sets in code level testing
wherein they will be mainly focusing on development and execution of Test Framework & Scripts.

Requirement Details:

 Responsible for understanding API functionality, work flow, writing TCs using Junit or other Test
Framework, reviewing the TCs and execution of TCs

 Responsible for Test Automation of web pages, web services or servers which involves automating
web user scenarios/TCs, writing Test Scripts for regression/stress test, TCs review and TCs execution

 Responsible of development of Test Tool or Android Application which involves developing


prototypes/modules or developing Android/Java/Desktop based applications and Test Tools Testing

 Initiative to propose patentable ideas / improvements in tools/process

Samsung Recruitment and Selection Process

Samsung Recruitment Process is conducted every year to select new candidates. The
Samsung selection process consists of 4 rounds. A candidate needs to qualify all the
four rounds to get the final placement offer from the company. Following are the four
rounds that a candidate will face during the Samsung Selection Process.

 Global Samsung Aptitude Test


 Technical Test

Global Samsung Aptitude Test

Samsung career can be started by passing the special exam conducted by Samsung
known as GSAT (Global Samsung Aptitude Test). It is the first step of the Samsung
Recruitment Process. GSAT consist of 50 aptitude questions which have to be
completed in 1 hour or 60 minutes. Along with the aptitude questions, there will be some
Reasoning questions, to test your logical power.

Section 1: It checks the Quantitative ability comprising of Data Interpretation (pie chart,
bar chart, line graph), percentage, profit and loss, time and work etc. During this test,
Samsung checks the data interpretation skill of a candidate.

Section 2: It checks the reasoning ability which includes puzzles.

Samsung Placement Drive
