animal is the lion (king of the jungle). He loves all the beautiful and colorful
flowers, bushes, trees and gardens.

The beach and sunshine is at the top of Richard’s list of things he enjoys
most. Nothing beats a wonderful, bright and sunny day, and if you’re at the
beach, then that is the cherry on top.

He also loves to read various books on many topics; life is about infinite
possibilities and variability. It is about learning, growing, earning and helping
not only yourself, but others as well. Life is to be explored and enjoyed. No
moment should be wasted. The present is a “gift” and should not be wasted
or be taken for granted.

Richard likes to challenge himself by setting goals and achieving them.


Accomplishing a task –whether big or small, can give you a grand satisfying
feeling. It can make you feel like you’ve made a million bucks. And it can
give you the confidence to set and accomplish even more goals.

Eating healthy is also important to Richard, because without good health, it’s
hard to be proactive, creative, productive and have an active and joyful life.
Good health should be on the top of most people’s list. Without your health
you can’t do much, can you?

Richard sees everyday as an adventure. Life should be celebrated and


cherished. Richard sees everyday as a day to accomplish another task or

Phase 1:
SELF-CONFIDENCE: BREAKING IT
DOWN FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND

What is self-confidence?

Why do you lack it?

Where does it come from?

Why do you need it?

Why do some people have more of it than others do?

Are you doomed to fail without it?

Can you build supreme, majestic, unstoppable and everlasting confidence?

Yes, you can!

SO, WHAT EXACTLY IS SELF-CONFIDENCE?

Self-confidence means to have full trust, reliance, certainty in one’s ability


and being 100% certain.

Self-confidence comes from the inside, from your thoughts and feelings; it’s
your inner desire, fire and will power.

Self-confidence is one of the most precious and important qualities a person


can possess.

Some people have supreme self-confidence, while others barely have any. To
have Self-confidence can make a tremendous difference between success
and failure.

Example #1: The Richest People


Look at the richest people in the world (who have a lot of money, land, fame,
businesses, personal chefs, resources and technology), do you think they
achieved all that by not having confidence in themselves (confidence to take
chances, have desires and no care what other negative people have to say)?

You need to believe and trust in yourself, you have to have confidence!

Example #2: The King of The Jungle


The male lion is the king of the jungle for a big reason.

It has supreme self-confidence and is both fearless


and ferocious, the male lion is
1. Savagely fierce, cruel and brutal.
2. Extreme and intense.
Now, you don’t have to be that extreme, but you
get my point.

To get further in life, you need to be confident.


Confidence in yourself, goals, dreams and quest
are what’ll separate you from others.

Unfortunately, not everyone is born with high self-


confidence. But luckily, there are many ways of
building it up.

But since there are no magic pills for instant "high self confidence,” the
process must be steady and gradual.

The Comfort (FEAR) Zone

The comfort zone is a state of mind.

The majority of people in this world are poor, weak, lazy, hypocritical,
fearful, unimaginative and ignorant. That is why they always fail, have less;
and will continue the same cycle for most of their lives. They think and live in
an area, which I call, “The comfort zone.”

The comfort zone is where most people love to be. In this zone, they feel
safe because their egos are protected. They do, accept, and contribute bare
minimum to their lives and to society. They get by on just “enough.” While in
this zone, they aren’t challenged –so, there is no room for growth or
creativity. In this zone, they are satisfied and contented.

Most people in this zone are usually poor of middle-class; they live from pay
check to check. They like to take it easy. They just go along with society, the
system and everything else. They do the very minimum. Their lifestyles
consist of watching TV, going to the bars, reading the newspaper, going to
work and paying bills.

Even though they’re not satisfied with their 9-5 jobs, pushy bosses,
hypocritical co-workers, boring lives, still they put up with them. They don’t
take the necessary actions to break out of that cycle and go on to do things
that are new, interesting, worthwhile entertaining and exciting.

Example: People Who Live In The Ghetto:


These people know that there are better places to live other than the
ghettos; they see nice places on TV, on the internet, in magazines and in
newspapers. And yet they don’t take the necessary action to improve the
quality of their life.

They settle for run down houses or apartments in the ghetto. They convince
themselves (as well as let others convince them) that they’re not valuable
enough and that they’re not worthy of owning nice homes in beautiful
communities.

They often say that money is the main reason why they can’t move to a nicer
place. But if other people can do what it takes, so can they. They can do the
same if not better than others can. As long as you have your health, you can
accomplish anything.

These people make excuses after excuses. These are self-limitations. You
can’t get ahead in life if you settle and always do the bare minimum. You
have to tell yourself that you’re worthy of achieving all that you desire in this
life. This planet is your home and you’re entitled to everything inside it.

You are limited in this comfort zone. In order to build super high confidence
and self-esteem, you must break out of this zone! This area limits your
livelihood, creativity, happiness, self worth, prosperity and freedom.

In life, you must take chances; you must challenge yourself to reach greater
goals and higher levels. You should never get too comfortable; life is about
growing, learning and advancement. You must be able to accept healthy
criticisms from others, see what you’re doing wrong and to work to correct it.

If you choose to stay in the “comfort zone,” you’ll almost never get to live
the life you deserve and be able to enjoy it to its fullest.

UNDERSTANDING YOURSELF AND


THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM

Who and what are we?

“We” are defined as “human beings”, but what is a human being anyway?

A human being is made up of body, mind, and soul/spirit.

The Body: The physical outer structure that we can see and touch.

The Mind: The invisible mechanism that we use to communicate and operate
in this world. It’s made up of thoughts, ideas and emotions.

The Soul/Spirit: The energy or life force that is within us. It’s what drives
us and keep us alive.

What is keeping you from having high self-confidence?

Is it your physical body that’s stopping you? Or

Is it your mind, or Soul/Spirit?

Which one is the major contributing factor?

Which one is the source of the problem?

Well, since our soul is a light and energy source that keeps us alive and the
body only moves when it’s given an order by the brain-mind, then we can
conclude that the main source of the problem is the mind.

UNDERSTANDING THE ROOT OF THE
PROBLEM: FEAR

What is fear?

Where does it come from?

Fear is a state or a byproduct of the mind (we’ll talk about mind later).

F.E.A.R. is the four-letter word that rules the world!

Fear is the unknown, the “what ifs,” and the “what they might think!”

It’s estimated that 99% of human beings are being controlled and
dictated by fear and the mind. Fear is what stops you dead in your tracks;
it’s what prevents you from being yourself and taking action. Fear is what
makes you to accept the “suggested.”

Most people will never be able to be themselves; they will never achieve the
goals they want to achieve. They will never be able to think outside of the
box, never be willing, daring or adventurous enough to take chances, action
and risk; out of fear of “what If”, or what others might think.

Who Uses Fear And Why?
It is common knowledge that fear does work. So, people who are in power,
or those who own businesses, and technology etc. see this as an opportunity
and they use it to its fullest.

They don’t care what they’re doing to the general public as long as they get
what they want.

They use fear mongering and scare tactics to manipulate and dictate to the
masses.

Fear is used to keep people under control, inline and obedient.


It can be used to get whatever you want out of people.

Some of the people who use fear are:

 Politicians:

They make endless promises to fix problems, but in the end only create
more than what were there before.

 Pharmaceutical Companies:

They tell you that only their drugs can cure you and if you don’t take their
drugs, you’ll forever suffer in pain and agony.

 Advertising companies:

They convince you that you need their products, or else you will suffer
with all kinds of pain and misery.

 Your family, religion, friends, peers, co-workers and associates:

They try to make you to be like them and stay at their levels, to follow
the man-made rules and never try to become enlightened and creative.

 Movies, Television programs and shows:

They make you watch their immoral programs, shows and buy
advertisers’ products and services or you’re not cool.

 Radios:

They talk you to death and spread propaganda to control your thoughts
and actions to their benefits.

 The Media:

They try to convince people to be, speak, act and live a certain way.

 The Fashion industry:

They hypnotize you to dress and act a certain way and to follow their
trend.

 The music industry:

They use songs to put bad ideas into your head that negatively influence
your life.

 The Shoe companies:

They make you to live a particular lifestyle and wear a certain style of
shoe at specific times.

 The Food industries:

They make you to eat specific foods to stay healthy or you’ll become fat
and unattractive.

 The Health industries:

They bombard you with propagandas and misleading health information.

 The Schooling system:

They brainwash and control you by telling you that you have to learn and
do things their way only. You are not allowed to have your own opinion. If
you do, they fail you and may force you to drop out of school and fail in
life.

Other Examples Of Fear-Mongering:

 Terrorist attacks
 Anthrax attacks
 H1N1 death tolls
 Oil shortages
 Food shortages

CHAPTER-4

HOW FEAR AFFECTS US WHEN WE


ARE GROWING UP AS CHILDREN

The ruling Elites in this world understand that it’s easier and better to
brainwash and condition people’s mind from early childhood age.

At this stage, your mind is like a sponge that will absorb anything and
everything.

Whatever TV shows you watched as a child, whatever your parents taught


you, and the behavior of people, everything you experienced, will be
absorbed and recorded in your mind.

As you grow older and into adulthood, you are bombarded and pressured into
looking, dressing, acting, and being a certain way.

A main reason why you have low self-esteem and confidence problem may
be because of what has happened to you in your childhood.

You might have been a victim of bullies at your school; you might have been
the least loved by your mother or father; you might have had a weight
problem and the other children teased you about it.

It also could have been in your early teenage years. Other kids may have
picked on you and said you weren’t cool enough to hang out with them.

It could also be right now in your adulthood that you have a few emotional
problems that are causing self-confidence issues for you.

Whatever the problems were, or are now, there are solutions to all of them.

Whether they’re physical, emotional, psychological, or spiritual, they are all
fixable. This book/e-book gives realistic and practical solutions to those
problems.

FEAR AND THE MIND

We know that fear is a byproduct or state of mind.

But what exactly is the mind and what role does it play in helping you to
build supreme confidence and high self-esteem?

Having bad feelings toward something or someone
Sadness
Happiness
Stress
Anxiety
Joyfulness
Optimistic

Destructive feelings and thoughts

UNDERSTANDING THE MIND AND HOW IT


WORKS

The mind is a powerful tool and entity that we use to communicate and
operate in this world.

Without the mind and the nervous system, we wouldn’t be able to think,
have thoughts, have emotions, get ideas and express our feelings.

The mind is both a gift and a curse (or like a double-edged sword) –you can
use it to cut through problems or it can cut you and cause problems.

The mind is a part of us, but at the same time independent of us –we can
use it anytime we want but it can think independently as well.

The mind can be your best friend or it can be your worst enemy -give you
creative, productive and constructive thoughts and ideas or it can influence
you with negative and destructive ones.

The Ego, The Center Of The Mind

At the center of the mind is the ego.

This ego is the main cause of problems for most people in this world.

It wants more and more forever and can never be satisfied.

Always wanting what it doesn’t have, and when it obtains it, gets bored and
don’t want it anymore.

It’s what keeps you from taking chances and exploring infinite possibilities.

The ego is always putting a wall up to protect itself.

The ego doesn’t want to experience pain, rejection or anything that is


unpleasant.

It wants joy, benefits, satisfaction, and benefits that life has to offer,
but none of the pain, misery and disappointments that come with it;
the ego is a very selfish entity.

That is why you have confidence issues, because the ego is controlling all
aspects of your life.

The ego is picking and choosing what makes it feel good, and that is
unrealistic.

You have to accept the good and bad in life, that way, you’ll know
what you’re up against and always be ready for anything that comes
your way.

If you’re very egotistical and selfish and only wants good things to
happen, then when bad things do happen, you’ll become very hurt by
it. Your self-esteem and confidence would be punctured and explode.

Important:

If you’re not in control of the mind and its ego, then you’re a slave to it.

The mind with its ego will do anything to control you; that’s why controlling it
and becoming your own boss is vital and necessary.

I will give strategies and techniques in this book/e-book on how to quiet the
mind and ego and take back control over your life.

THE BRAIN: UNDERSTANDING ITS PURPOSE


AND CHARACTERISTICS

The Brain is the most complex and sophisticated organ that a human being
has. It is the major think-tank that we need and use to operate in this
world. We need it to think, communicate and make important decisions.

First of all, there are two sides to our brain, the left side and the right side.
Most people who have low self-esteem and confidence issues predominantly
use the left side of their brain. Others who have high self-confident, tend to
use the right side more.

The two sides of the brain have different functions. The left side is logical,
straight forward and is directly connected to our visible physical material
world.

The right side is subjective, irrational, more complex, spontaneous and


connected to the invisible inner world.

If you are reading this book/e-book manual then most likely you are left-
brain dominant.

If you are logical, structured, straight forward, linear, simple and business as
usual, then most likely you are left-brain dominant.

However, if you want to build more self-confidence and start seeing the world
in a completely new light, then you must understand and begin to use the
right side of your brain too. Most of us use one side more than the other. It’s
time to start using both equally.

The right side of the brain is like “Mr. /Ms. Excitement”; it’s the side that
likes to have fun. It sees the world in a different view. It’s all about color,
imagination, surprises and adventures.

Women tend to be more right brain dominant; that’s why they love to have
so much fun. Men are more left brain, more logical and straightforward.

If you don’t have any of these characteristic traits, don’t worry you will soon
learn how to acquire, use and enjoy them.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE BRAIN AND


MIND

The brain and mind are separate, but the two entities are linked or
intertwined together -like two sides of a coin –it’s the same coin, only it has
two sides.

The brain is the engine for the mind;


it’s what allows us to connect to and
use the mind.

The brain is the hardware while the mind is


the software.

The brain needs the mind and the mind


also needs the brain.

The brain receives ideas from the mind and


the mind needs to manifest its ideas
through the brain.

There Are Two Main Ways Of Building Up Your
Self-confidence:
1. Materialistically/physically, and

2. Spiritually

Materialistically/Physically:

Material and physical things are important to have in order to enjoy yourself
in this life, but there must also be a balance.

Make sure you are acquiring material possessions for your personal
enjoyment and not just for show or for taking advantage of others.

Building confidence materially or physically means you are building up from


the outside (externally).

To build up confidence spiritually means you are building up from the inside
(internally).

Material confidence only goes so far and will not complete you.

You’ll not feel completely fulfilled.

You must complete the package by making yourself happy both on the inside
and out.

 Acquiring many social friends


 Buying expensive houses
 Driving flashy cars
 Wearing expensive clothes

Material possessions will do wonders for your ego and self-esteem. You’ll feel
great that you’re acquiring all the toys that seem to make people happy.
Having all the latest tools, technology, and gadgets will temporarily your
mind at ease but, there is also a shocker.

You can acquire many material things to help build up your self-confidence,
but that is only half of the mission. You have to add spiritual development to
the equation. Developing your spirituality (inner world), will complete you, it
will give you real peace and complete freedom. We’ll talk about spiritual
development in later chapters.

Practice Talking To Many People

One of the best ways to gain high self-confidence is to talk to many people.

Talk to as many people as possible on a daily basis, talk to both women and
men. Practice makes perfect.

Talking will help you to become more comfortable and to be able to know
other people, their behaviors and personalities.

Communication with others will give you the experience, wisdom, knowledge
and understanding you need to succeed.

The more people you network and befriend the more opportunities to
get rich will appear. The richer you become, the more self-confident
you would become.

To make people enjoy having you as a friend, do more listening with


them, empathize and support them and do less talking about
yourself.

Many people just need somebody to hear about their feelings and
problems and console them.

Body Language Awareness
Body language is a communicator; it shows the state and mood
you’re in.

Your body and its various postures can tell a lot about you and your
personality, what’s going on in your life and how you’re feeling.

In order to be and show confidence with your body language, you


must adopt these characteristics:

results will always drive you to do more and more.

So, always try to be active and adventurous; the more active you are the
more weight you’ll lose and the more confident and happier you will be.

If you’re overweight, then it’s necessary to lose some weight for it will help
you to live a better and healthier lifestyle.

Presentation:

If you look at the way car manufacturers present and display their cars; the
way companies display their RVs; how fashion magazines layout their
magazines, you’ll see that they do it in a way that is unique, attractive and
appealing.

Their products and services are noticed and bought. It’s the same way you
have to present yourself; you have to be up-to-date, cool, calm, confident
and appealing.

Tone:

Tone is the way in which you speak. When you hear a confident person
speaks, he/she speaks loudly, enthusiastically, confidently, and in a clear
tone of voice.

This is how you have to speak. This is an important personality trait to have.

Speaking this way commands immediate respect. It makes people know who
you are and who they’re dealing with.

Let them feel your energy and experience your tone.

Walk:

The way a person walks can show if he/she is in good health, if he/she is a
happy person and if he/she has high self-confidence.

The way to lighten up your mood and feel energetic is to walk smooth, at
medium pace, shoulders back and chin up –stand tall and walk proud.

This shows a person who is happy, full of life and unstoppable.

A person who usually walks slowly with his/her head down doesn’t show
happiness or confidence.

You have to pay attention to the way in which you walk, always walk happy
and proud.

HOW DOES DRESSING WELL HELP YOU TO


BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE?

The way in which you dress plays a big role in your life whether you want to
believe it or not. When you dress well, you feel better, when you feel better,
your confidence naturally builds up and you accomplish more. Also you’ll get
more attention from people and this too builds up your confidence.

Success or failure can be predetermined by the way in which you dress and
carry yourself; dressing well can open up many gates of opportunities for
you. This could be business, a new relationship, a career offer, a contract
proposal etc. Dressing well is a win-win situation.

People judge others by the clothes they wear and the type of style they
portray. Always dress and look your best.

How to Dress

Always wear well-fitted, seasonal and up-to-date style clothing.

Always make sure that you’re clean and well groomed as well, and that you
wear clean clothes and shoes.

Wear clothes that look good with your body type. You don’t have to buy
expensive clothes to look good, find reasonable clothing at fair prices.

To get more detailed information about clothes and fashion, just go to a local
bookstore, or magazine stand, (Chapters, Wal-Mart, and Coles) and check
out a few copies of fashion magazines such as GQ magazine, FHM, Vanity
Fair magazines etc. or look at people walking on the street and see what
they wear. You can also go to the fashion magazine’s websites to see and
read more on clothes and fashion.

Standing Up For Yourself
Someone who has high self-confidence does not allow others to push him/her
around.

Sure, you can allow a few wise cracks from your friends or co-workers at
work from time to time, but that is at work and when you’re just playing
around.

However, if there are people who insist on picking on you and making it a
priority and habit to control and dominate you that is not to be tolerated.

There are people who get satisfaction from taking advantage of others.
Don’t be the one to be bullied. Stand up for yourself and don’t let anyone
mess with you and get away with it.

Don’t ever be a pushover, don’t let people boss you around and take
advantage of you.

If you allow them to push you around a few times and you don’t do anything
about it, they’ll assume you’re weak, easily controlled and they will continue
to do it.

You must be fired up and let people know that you are serious and will not be
pushed around!

Don’t take any kind of abuse from anyone because you don’t have to and
you’re not supposed to.

There is a reason why there are laws, rules, police and a justice system; it is
to protect you.

Never be afraid of anyone who calls you names because you told the teacher,
police, landlord, mayor, judge, lawyer or any kind of authority on them
because they’re pushing you around and taking advantage of you.

When you take the necessary actions and deal with this problem, these
bullies will know that you are serious and will think twice before messing with
you again.

Police are there to serve and protect you, so use them to your advantage;
that’s what they’re there; that’s what they are paid for. You’re paying their
salaries with your tax dollars, so why would you be afraid to have them work
in your favor?

Social Status
Social status means how up in the ranks you are valued through the eyes of
your peers and other people.

The cooler you are, the higher up the ranks you are placed.

The easiest way to gain high social status is to befriend people who are
already have high rankings or value; this way, you’ll be perceived to have
high social value as well.

If you truly believe that you have high value and must be respected, then
that is how it is. What you believe, is what it is. If you believe 100% in
something, then others will believe also. Believe in yourself. Believe that you
have high value and act like it.

BUILDING SELF-CONFIDENCE SPIRITUALLY

The second main way of building supreme self-confidence is spiritually.

This means internally; mind and spirit; your inner being; inner world.

This way is the most important and most effective.

What’s on the outside is not half as important as what’s on the inside.

When you combine building self-confidence materially and spiritually, you are
forming a complete and everlasting structure.

This is the supreme, absolute and complete package you can accomplish to
having everlasting high self-confidence and self-esteem.

Your soul (inner being) is the real you, not your physical body, not the mind,
not your house, car, money, friends or any other material things.

Once you make yourself happy from the inside, then all the joy, confidence,
power, energy, freedom, happiness and prosperity will show on the outer
side too.

Spiritual development is all about you, putting all the attention and focus on
you and developing yourself.

Spiritual development is self-development; making yourself more aware and


stronger.

Low self-esteem or low self-confidence is not an outside or physical problem;


it’s an internal. To change what you see or feel on the outside, you must first
understand and change things on the inside.

This exterior/physical world is a mirror of your internal spiritual


world.

Meditation is the most useful method for relaxing the body, quieting the
mind, and connecting with your spirit/soul (the true and real you).

MEDITATION

What is meditation and how does it


helps with building self-confidence?

When you are able to understand and connect with your spirit/soul, you’ll
begin to transform, become more aware, and realize that you really are a
free being and have nothing to fear.

The mind is what’s in your way of true happiness and freedom.

When you meditate, the mind becomes quiet; therefore not an issue and
therefore no ego, no emotions and no fear.

When fear is gone, then confidence can be obtained.

Mind (with its ego) is the problem because it creates fear, the fear of the
unknown. You can’t get rid of the mind, but you can use meditation to take
control of it.

This is the reason why meditation is necessary; to set you free.

When you’re set free, you’re free from the mind.

Freedom from the mind means less distractions, less destructive thoughts
emotional feelings, more freedom to be you.

The ability to be more self confident, accept criticism light heartedly.


You’ll fear no evil, progress and advance in life.

Side note 1:

I practice meditation as often as I can; it helps me to relief stress, quiet all


the chatters and noises of the mind, and it also feel good to have some time
for myself.

Side note 2:

The yogi masters all practice meditation because they realize the many
benefits of doing it. You too can do meditation, just take 5-10 minutes out of
your day and just sit still and be still, no thinking or moving; just stay sit still
like a rock.

Meditation means doing nothing at all, when you look at a rock that
is the perfect example of meditation.

Be like a rock. After practicing meditation for a few weeks, you too
will see and feel the results of it.

HEALTH AND NUTRITION

Your health is the most important thing in your life, because if you don’t have
good health, you’re often feeling sick, in pain, tense and unhappy.

Therefore, you need to take the necessary steps in staying healthy on a


regular basis.

Sure you might get a virus, or a cold, or the flu once in a while, but that
doesn’t usually last long because your body’s immune system usually takes
care of that.

However, it’s the other more serious illnesses and diseases that will really
affect you and last longer that you should be concerned about.

You can’t have high self-confidence and be happy when you’re constantly in
pain and miserable. A healthy body equals better living.

Therefore, you need to pay close attention to your nutrition (what you eat)
and being physically active (exercising).

(1) Nutrition:
It’s important to eat healthy as often as possible. I understand that it’s not
always realistic to eat the right foods, but you can accomplish this goal by
thinking about eating less fatty foods, less fried foods and less sugary foods.

When you remember not to eat a lot of those, then it becomes easy to eat
healthier.

Focus on eating lots of vegetable, fruits and lean meats. Also, always drink
plenty of water; it helps to energize, purify and hydrate your body.

(2) Exercising:
For your body to be healthy, it needs to stay active so as to help the blood to
flow and nourish all your internal organs.

When you exercise, you take in more oxygen; this gives your lungs and
whole body an energy boost.

Join and work out in the gym.

Do simple exercises at home, pushups, sit ups, dips, squats, lunges, abs
crunches, pull ups, bicep curls with a weighted object, triceps extensions,
good mornings, stretching, skipping, jogging on the spot etc.

These are some of the ways to be active, fit, healthy, happy and overflowing
with confidence.

When you exercise regularly and eat healthy, your body will naturally operate
at its optimal level.

This will make you feel good, look good and have all the confidence you
need.

Affirmations

What are affirmations?

Affirmations are confirmations, reinforcements and validation that something


is true and real.

Affirmations are very powerful techniques to use because they target and
program the subconscious part of the brain (the biggest and unused
part).

Whatever the subconscious brain-mind believes to be real is accepted as real


and therefore treated as real.

Therefore, programming your subconscious brain-mind with affirmations that


are positive and constructive is important. It will believe it and start working
accordingly to what it is told.

There are many tools, which you can use for affirmation to empower the
mind-brain. These tools are books, audios, videos, pictures, and software
etc.

Examples of Affirmations:
The key to succeeding with affirmations is repetition (it helps to bypass the
conscious part of the mind and penetrate the subconscious part).

The majority of people are controlled by the mind therefore, reprogramming


it and taking back control is necessary.

Words, pictures, sounds and thoughts are the elements used in the
affirmation process.

Example #1:

Using words

Say to yourself:

I am confident
I am mentally, physically, psychologically and spirituality strong
I love myself
I am who I am
I will continue to be myself
I will not allow others to harm me
I will love others no matter what happens
I will get what I want
I will never give up
I will never quit
I am not afraid of anything

I will be realistic in my goals and dreams

Example #2:

Use Pictures (Mental Picturization or visualization)

Whatever you want your results or final outcome to be, use a picture
(physical or mental) of that which you want.

For examples if you want a BMW luxury car, get a picture of that car and use
it to focus and concentrate on.

The more you focus the mind on it; the more energy goes into acquiring it.
Say, “I will do what is required to get this car.”

If you want to climb the highest mountain in the world, get a picture of man
or woman who has accomplished it and use it as motivation for yourself.

Say, “I will climb that mountain.”

Other examples could be a man or woman speaking in front of a large crowd,


a man surrounded by beautiful women or a picture of a woman surrounded
by handsome men, you can use pictures of a person with a lot of cash at
his/her desk –showcasing wealth and success.

IMPORTANT:
In all the pictures that you are using, you must pretend that you are
the one in all of them and you have accomplished all the tasks.

Example #3:
Use Sound

Sounds such as music, songs and mantras are a very powerful tool because
they can be used to calm you, hype you up, inspire you, make you feel
relaxed or lift your spirit up.

Sounds can be used for improving your confidence; these types of sounds
are fast and have upbeat tempo.

Example #4:

Create and achieve your desires through thinking

Your thoughts are extremely powerful. This world is based on thoughts,


imagery and ideas.

Everything you see around you today became a reality from a single thought.

Thoughts are blueprints, the end results are the manifestation of them.

Thoughts are images or pictures in your mind.

Use thoughts to envision yourself having supreme confidence, imagine


yourself achieving all the goals and desires you want.

Use thoughts to create the end result that you want to achieve.

Visualize all the outcomes of what you want to happen.

It’s easier to achieve something if you visualize a clear and strong picture of
it and see yourself attaining it.

Think about what you desire always day and night and see them
coming true physically. Touch, smell and feel them as real and
outside you.

MENTALLY SEPARATING YOURSELF


FROM THE HERD OF SHEEP

Most people are other people; they just follow what the other persons do.

These people are called “Sheeple”; like sheep, they simply follow the other
sheep in front of them without question.

Don’t be a Sheeple and follow the rest of the herd. Don’t be like everybody
else, be unique and stand out from the crowd.

Do your own thing, be creative, be different from the rest, people will like
and respect you for it. They’ll even want to be like you too.

To build higher self-confidence you have to mentally separate yourself from
the average folks, who follow each other.

You don’t have to completely separate yourself by being anti-social and an


outcast. Be unique and have your own ideas, make your own rules and be
yourself. Be involved with society but not be lost in it.

Advantages of Standing Out:

1. You get noticed:

People can sense power and energy; they can see action, colors and things,
if you do things that are unusual, creative or extraordinary, people will take
notice of you.

2. You become an inspiration for others:

People like others who are more powerful and more confident than they are.

You’ll automatically become a leader to others when you display these


characteristic traits.

Since most people are weak and powerless, they will love you for being
strong and outstanding.

3. Your social status automatically rises:

Whenever others are perceived to be important, they are automatically


ranked high in the minds of observers.

Whether you like it or not, people will like you, they will want to be around
you and will rank you high if they perceive you to be of some importance and
value.

4. Creates attraction:

If you’re a man, the most powerful asset to attract women is confidence.

Women are naturally drawn to men who have high self-confidence.

If you’re a woman, this works for you too; standing out from the crowd gets
you noticed by men, when you are noticed, the choices of men approaching
you will be high.

Disadvantages of Standing Out:
Not everyone is going to love your new found high self confidence, appeal
and attraction.

Some people are going to show hatred towards you because you look
happier, friendlier, empowered, more spontaneous and joyful than them.

When someone separates him/her self from a group of miserable people for
betterment, he/she automatically becomes a target. Don’t fear this; be free
and happy. You should not take the gift of life for granted and waste it,
especially not because other people want you to be, act and stay a certain
way. This is your life, not theirs, so enjoy it to its fullest.

Side Note: An Important Point About


Persistence

The one true key element that I have had the most success using is
persistence.

Persistence has proven to work for me time and time again, when you persist
and don’t give up, you will eventually get what you want.

So why quit and give up when you know you’ll eventually get what you
desire if you just stick with it?

Never quit or give up!

There is no “one” way of doing things, there are many ways of achieving
goals, dreams and results. So, try other ways to achieve your happiness and
be persistent.

Important Questions To Ask Yourself

“What am I gaining by being too nice or too polite to people who are envious
and jealous”?

“What do I get for not expressing and being myself”?

“Are people going to put me in their “good book” for being miserable like
them”?

“Am I going to sleep better at night knowing that I was good and didn’t do
anything to upset or offend so and so”?

“Is this person going to give me high points for being shy and obedient”?

“What do I gain from not being expressive and full of life”?

Most human beings are jealous, selfish and envious, they like to see others
at their level or lower; whether it is with money, a house, a car, education
level, career, freedom or happiness.

Most people don’t want to see you happier and more confident than them;
they’ll try to do whatever it takes to pull you down. You must not allow this.

Most human beings have a very dark nature (most have been brainwashed
and conditioned from early childhood); some will try to stop you at all cost,
they will try to stall any ideas, or plans you may have. You have to keep
away from these kinds of people; no good can come from being around
them.

Trying to be too good to please everyone will do you no good. You must let
go of trying to please everyone and focus on pleasing and enjoying yourself.

Feel free, be free and do whatever you want in order to achieve the status,
levels and goals that you desire. Know the “truth” and it shall set you free.
And the truth is “letting go of fear”!

This “fear” is what’s holding you back from true self expression, freedom and
high self confidence.

You must make a decision right now to let go, let go of being afraid, you
have nothing or anyone to be afraid of. Their words can’t hurt you, and if
they try to physically harm you, you have the proper authorities to deal with
them. So, you are truly free; it is you that is holding yourself back, release
and let go!

Believe In Yourself

If you’re alive, you can do anything, you can accomplish anything you set
your mind to.

You can’t wait for someone else to believe in you. You have to believe in
yourself. You have to trust in you. Have faith, courage and wisdom that you
will prosper in the end.

Believe and know that all things are possible; if another person can do
something, so can you. All you have to do is to try and be persistent, never
quit or never give up.

Don’t forget about your friends and family; they too can give a helping hand.
You don’t have to go about this all alone; get help whenever you need it.

How can I get help from my friends and family?

Tip 1:

Simply ask a friend to give you a critique or review about the kind of person
he/she thinks you are and your confidence level. Then you can take the parts
that are not up to par and work on them.

Tip 2:

You can also gather a few of your family members and do a speech in front
of them. This will help boost your self confidence, and you wouldn’t have
much problem speaking to them since they’re your family and you’re use to
them.

Limiting Beliefs That Are Holding You Back

Your religion, tradition, culture, beliefs, background and your way of life can
be a burden to your happiness.

They can limit you from reaching your true potential and from building high
self confidence.

There could be contradictions and conflictions with your traditional beliefs
and what you want from life.

If you want to achieve the most out of life, you must re-evaluate these set-
backs and see if they are really worth holding on to.

You now realize that while growing up, there were lots of brainwashing and
conditioning going on with you.

Your parents, teachers, priest, pope, Governments, doctors, peers and family
members might have influenced or forced you into things that were not
exactly right for you.

These things could be pulling you in the opposite direction from where you
actually want to go. And because you think these things are right for you,
you convince yourself that they are, while you live in pain and misery.

Because you were born in a certain place, or in a certain belief system, or in


a certain way of life, doesn’t mean you have to hold on to it and live with it.

You have the power to choose your own path in life; this is your life and your
happiness.

Don’t allow fear of these beliefs systems hold you back or hold you down.
Remember that fear is the four letter word that rules the world –it’s also a
byproduct or state of mind- it can’t harm you.

Examples of Some Belief Systems:

Example #1:

Is praying ten times a day, worshipping and being a slave to your God really
necessary?

Example #2:

Is wearing a turban or Punjabi really helping you?

Example #3:

Is excluding yourself from interracial marriages really the best thing for you?

Are all those religious rituals going to get you high social rankings?

Example #5:

Is being close minded about trying new things, foods, and adventures going
to make you look good in the eyes of whoever you want to impress?

These are examples of limiting beliefs. Building high self confidence means
being open and free to express yourself.

You can’t move forward if something or someone is holding you back.

You need to let go of things or people that are holding you back from total
freedom; it’s the only way.

CHAPTER-16

DEALING WITH STRESS AND ANXIETY

Stress and anxiety comes from the inability or uncertainty to handle or deal
with a situation.

They are the opposite of being confident.

Stress and anxiety are really just byproducts of the mind; they’re not even
necessary, you don’t have to put yourself through it at all.

Proof that stress and anxiety are byproducts of the mind or state of
mind and they’re not necessary to suffer from:

Example:
Let’s say you’re a man and you’re meeting a woman for the very first time on
a blind date.

When you first meet this woman, you feel tensed, stressed, nervous and
anxious, this is because you don’t know what to expect and what’s going to
happen next.

But soon thereafter, you meet her and start talking to her and all the tension
and fear starts to disappear. Why is that?

Why is it that one minute you feel stressed and anxious and the other minute
you don’t?

It’s because you’re the one who’s doing it to yourself; you’re allowing the
mind to take over and produce these unnecessary thoughts and feelings.
You’re allowing it when you don’t have to.

Tip:

Always remember that stress and anxiety are just “state of mind” or
“byproducts of mind” you don’t have to worry about the mind (with its
ever changing moods) because it’s just a tool and you’re in total control of it.

When you start to feel stress, anxious or nervous, always remember that it’s
just the mind that’s expressing its emotions; you don’t have to worry about it
because you are the boss and you run the show.

Stop Being Shy

What is shyness?

It’s being afraid to express yourself. Shyness is just an unnecessary way of


holding back your true self and nature.

You may find that being shy will cause you to lose out on many opportunities
90% of the time.

There is no need to be shy; it does you no good in being shy and isolated
and missing out on all types of possibilities.

Step out of the background and into the foreground; in the light and express
yourself.

Get out of that comfort zone and start doing things you normally wouldn’t
do.

Letting Go Of The Past And Start Living In The


“Now”
There is no time like the present.

Most people constantly worry about what has happened in the past and
what’s going to happen in the future.

The past is just that; the past, you can’t change it or do anything about it.
Whatever was said or done in the past either by someone else or by you, it’s
done, gone, and over with so forget about it.

And the future is not here yet so why spend so much time worrying about
something that hasn’t happen yet, and you might not even live to see?

Even though the future is important to acknowledge, for career wise, children
and for settling down, it is not as important as the present.

You must live in the “now,” enjoy it because it is a “gift.” But also at the
same time you can do some of the things that are necessary to prepare for
the future. If you live in the “now,” you’ll find life much more enjoyable and
worthwhile.

So, stop worrying so much about what has happened in the past or what
might happen in the future, start enjoying and living right “now”.

ACCEPTING THE GOOD AND THE BAD

This is the yin and yang symbol, it represents good and evil, male and
female, up and down, it is the opposite of its self.

Yin and Yang represents the balance of life.

It is part of your life and existence; you must accept the symbolism for which
it stands for.

Yin and yang means in order to get the good in life, you must also accept the
bad that comes along with it.

Life and nature is not one sided so you can’t expect to experience only good
things and not bad.

Most people are childish and unrealistic; they only want good things to
happen in their life, that’s why they will continue to have unnecessary
problems.

The sooner you realize the yin and yang concept and accept it, the better
your life will be; this knowledge will put you in a position to better deal with
any problem before it arises.

Before a situation occurs, you would have already suspected it and be ready
for it.

Example:

Some people are envious of others who are stronger and more confident.
They see it as a threat and a challenge to them.

If you understand and accept the yin and yang concept, then you would be
prepared for these kinds of people.

You would have the necessary tools to deal with them when the problem
arises.

However, if you don’t accept the yin and yang concept, then you would be
one sided in your thinking and telling yourself that no one will be jealous of
you because you’re a good person.

This kind of attitude will only create problems in your life.

Accept all that life has to offer and you’ll be fine.

Various Opportunities That Self-confidence Can


Create

Most people love others who are confident and strong, if they say otherwise,
they’re not being truthful.

They see your confidence as leadership, status and power. People tend to
open up to others who seem to be in control, confident or successful.

It is great to have confidence. A movie producer may offer you the


opportunity for a movie role –just because he noticed the way you talk and
behave.

A clothing company may notice the way you wear your clothes and offer you
a chance to model their new clothing line.

You may have been seen speaking to a large group of people one day and a
representative of a famous manufacturer sees and offers you an opportunity
to become their spokesperson for their company.

Most people love a confident person, they might not admit it, but they can’t
get enough of it. It pays to be confident –it’s a win-win asset to have.

Being, Loving, Accepting And Respecting


Yourself
You don’t have to be or to act like someone you’re not in order to be
confident.

Never try to be someone else; it will only make you look unnatural and you’ll
feel uncomfortable.

Always be yourself, add some fun and excitement to your daily routines and
your life to transform effortlessly and naturally.

The most important thing you can do loves, accept and respect yourself.

This makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. This will also show in your
body language, personality and characteristics.

Be yourself, you will never truly be happy or make someone else happy,
unless you make yourself happy first.

Value and put yourself up. You’re worthy and priceless; others need and
depend upon you: Your mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, your
friends, strangers, associates and co-workers. Respect yourself and others
will respect you too.

Stop Comparing Yourself To Others

If everyone looks, acts, speaks, dresses and lived the same way, the world
would be a very boring place wouldn’t it?

So why would you try to be like another person?

You don’t need to be like others, be yourself, be different, be unique, be


creative; don’t be a carbon copy of someone else.

Being different is a good thing, it means you’re not trying to be like
everybody else and it makes you stand out from the predictable crowd.

People are always looking outside of themselves. They are looking outside for
comparison, for answers, for approval and for help. You don’t have to
compete or compare yourself to others, because others are comparing
themselves to other people as well.

Your own approval is all that you need. You only need to work and
improve on yourself. You don’t have to be someone else; just be
yourself; always be yourself. If you try to speak or act like someone
else, it may not fit you and you’ll only look awkward.

All that matters is you and only you. Live life and express yourself; stop
worrying about what others say or think.

Visualization

When you visualize things, you’re imagining an outcome.

Visualization is a powerful technique that can help you to achieve great


success.

Use visualization to see in your mind’s eye the outcome of what you want.

Example:

 Visualize how you want your day to look and feel.


 Visualize having a smile on your face each day.
 Visualize having great conversations with others.
 Visualize getting that pay raise that you wanted.
 Visualize yourself walking tall and proud.
 Visualize getting a lot of attention from strangers.
 Visualize talking to large crowds and not being afraid.

Everything starts from a vision, either consciously or unconsciously. Use


visualization to your advantage.

The Power Of A Smile

A simple smile changes so much.

It’s very contagious; a smile can instantly lighten up your mood as well as
others around you. You’ll find that a smile will get you more attention and
draw more people to you.

A smile makes you more approachable and liked. It makes you feel better
and happier; plus it will boost your self confidence.

 Smiling puts you in a better mood.


 It makes you seem like a happy person.
 You will look more approachable.
 It makes you feel calmer.
 Smiling is contagious.
 Smiling relieves stress.
 Smiling lowers your blood pressure.
 Smiling makes you seem successful.
 Smiling helps you to stay positive.

Laughter

They say laughter is one of the best medicines.

I truly believe it is so.

Laughter can make you happier, it can make you smile, and it can take the
edge off a rather tense situation.

Laughter can put you in a relaxed state; it can make you seem less
threatening and more approachable by other people.

Laughter can make others feel more comfortable with you.

Laughter is a win-win situation, try not to take life so seriously –laugh more.

Confidence And Arrogance

We already know what confidence is, but do you know what arrogance is?

Arrogance is being a loud mouth; know it all, cruel, rude, and selfish
individual.

You must try not to come to this extreme. Arrogance is the extreme of being
self confident.

I want you to become the most confident person you can be, but, in a cool,
fun, energetic, enthusiastic and leadership kind of way, not in an arrogant
thinking you’re better than “everyone on the planet” kind of way.

Being arrogant can actually have a reverse effect on you. Instead of being
cool, likeable and approachable, it can turn people away from you.

So, try not to get to this stage, try to balance being confident and not being
arrogant.

DEALING WITH PEOPLE WHO WILL BE JEALOUS


OF YOUR NEW SUPER HIGH SELF CONFIDENCE

There are two things to expect when your confidence reaches a new high.

1. Some people will love you 100% because of it.

2. Some people will show hatred – but, underneath it all, they will secretly
envy you -they will tease you, pick on you and make fun of you, while at the
same time they’ll want to be like you.

Confidence is power; and everyone wants power, whether they want to admit
it or not.

When you have built up superior confidence, you’ll feel like you’re on top of
the world; you will be on top of the world; there’s nothing anyone can say or
do to affect you.

People will verbally insult you, call you names, test you and they might even
try to physically hurt you.

But words can’t harm you or your emotions, because, you know that
emotions are byproducts of the mind, and you’re always in full control of the
mind.
And if they try to physically harm you, then, that is where the proper
authorities come in to deal with the situation.

Therefore, for any action or attack that may come your way, you’ll always be
prepared and have a counter action for it, end of story.

You have the right of freedom, happiness and success, you have the right to
be free and live free, you have the right to have high self confidence, you
have the right to be yourself and express yourself.

Nobody should tell you how to live your life, as long as you’re not harming
anyone. You have the right to achieve all your goals and succeed in life.

From now on, you’ll no longer fear what others may say, think or do.

You now have the power and you’re no longer controlled by the mind (with
its ego and emotions), you no longer have to fear being yourself and do as
you like; you are fearless, you can go full out into any goals, dreams and
desires that you have and no one can bring you down.

You are now free from what you thought were “problems “, they no longer
matter to you, you’re beyond them.

HOW TO ACQUIRE, USE AND ENJOY


RIGHT BRAIN CHARACTERISTIC
TRAITS

Most individuals who have low self esteem and low self confidence are
predominantly “left brain”- they use the left side of their brain more.

The left side is the comfort zone area; playing it safe and hope nothing out
the ordinary happens.

On the other hand, right brain people do things spontaneously and random,
you almost never know what they’re going to do.

This makes them more interesting and fun; these people are the most
creative, adventurous and exciting.

For this reason I have created a work task for you to do. This work task
consist of using the right brain more often and doing things out of the
ordinary (things you wouldn’t normally do)

Work Task: Adding Spice and Variations To


Your Routines

Week 1:

Step 1:

Get out a pen and a piece of paper, draw a straight line down the center, and
write down three things that you normally do in any given week on the left
side of the paper.

Step 2:
On the right hand side of the same paper, write a variation (not the
opposite) to those three things from the left side.

For example, if you drive to work on a particular street to work every day,
you would write, “I will take a detour or short cut” to work this week.

Another example would be if you eat fast food a lot every week, you would
right on the right hand side, “I will cook a meal everyday this week .”

A third example would be if you stay at home every week and don’t go out
on the weekends, you would write on the right hand side, “I will go out every
other weekend and have fun with my friends.”

Step 3:
After you have written down the three things that you normally do during
the week and the three variations of those things on the right side of your
list, now is the time to start doing them. It’s better to start with only three,
this way, it won’t overwhelm your mind and thus you end up doing nothing.

Important Note:
These tasks are designed to help you to get out of your comfort zone, start
taking action, and to live and enjoy life.

While doing all of this, your self confidence will naturally begin to rise and
before you know it, you’ll be on top of the world.

Week 2:
In this second week, add three more things (total of 6 things now) that
you normally do in any given week on the left side of the same piece of
paper.

For those three new things, write three more variations to them.

For example, if you write down, “I normally spend four hours a day surfing
the internet,” you could write across from it, “I will use one of those hours to
go for a walk instead.”

During week one and two, things might seem a little strange or out of the
ordinary; it’s fine; it’s just because you are doing things in a different way
and you’re breaking out of the regular cycle and everyday routine.

Your mind and body are used to doing the same things over and over, so
when you do some things differently, they are shocked and try to adjust back
to their comfort level.

You must always try NOT to live in a comfort zone; because if you do,
you won’t be living life to its fullest, you won’t be living much at all.

Life is about fun, action, ups, downs, dangers, challenges, good and
the bad; it comes as a total package, you can’t pick and choose from
it, you have to accept all. So, understand it, accept it, welcome it and
carry on.

Week 3:
Add three more things (total of 9 things now) and carry on as instructed.

Week 4:
Add three more things (total of 12 things now) and carry on as instructed.

End Of Month One.

Do This For Two Months


After the two months, you will notice major changes in your lifestyle and
livelihood; you’ll start to have more fun, get more attention from people, you

won’t be afraid to try new things, you’ll naturally build more self confidence,
you’ll become more creative and more opportunities will come your way.

All of this is happening now because you’re using more of the right
side of your brain. You’ll ask yourself, “Why haven’t I done this
before.”

Important:
It’s important to note that I don’t want you to be too extreme, trying to be
the opposite of who you are.

The strategy is to add to your personality –spicing it up, making it more fun
and exciting. It’s not to change you into someone that you’re not or can’t
relate to. That’s why I say variations. Not doing total opposite things.

Recommendation:
I suggest that you try and continue doing most of the things that you have
been doing for the last two months (from the right hand side of the
paper). You don’t have to keep doing all of them, but try to do as many as
you can.
