1. Where exactly is the river? Which kind of river is that?

How can you describe it?

 In the Amazonas.

 It is a boiled river.

 It’s a strange river, because start with cold water

then a hot water.

2. How many degrees does it have? Is it the same in the

whole extension of the boiling river?

 It has 86 degrees.

 No, it isn’t. because start with cold water then hot

water

3. What everyday activities can natives do with this natural

resource?

 They can drink the water, use for clean , cook with

it, make their own medicines.

4. What is the original name of the boiling river?

  His original name is Sharay – timpishka, what it

means “Bolid with the heat of the sun”.

5. Why does the river boil? How does it work?

 Because the water seeps into the ground then is

heated by the geothermal gradient emerging like

hot water.

6. According to the geoscientist, what would be the

significance of the boiling river?

 It’s unique river, because is a geothermal

phenomenon.
