Underground Cable Installation Details

This document provides a diagram and details of an underground cable installation. It shows the cable buried under crushed rock backfill above undisturbed earth. Warning tape is placed above the cable. Spot details show a manhole cover made of steel checker plate attached to an angular steel frame by hinged cylindrical bars and spike bars. Landscaping will be restored to pre-existing conditions after excess material is mounded to allow for settlement.
